Cute ice cream shop with delicious selections, especially on a warm day. We decided to try the pineapple dole whip soft serve, and it was absolutely delicious. Was also priced right. Great service as well. We really enjoyed it and will be back again.

You got a happy doggie customer, that’s for sure! We came during the week so it wasn’t busy. Expensive for ice cream but you’re paying for an experience so take that into account. Cookie crazy shake was super yummy! I split it with my husband and we both got plenty! Friendly staff 🧡

Horrible experience on 07/05/2025 at 3:21pm. I ordered two pineapple ice cream soft serve on a cake cone, while getting to the cash register for payment, I made sure to let Anela (cashier, according to the receipt) what I ordered and showed her the ice cream cones. She completed the credit card transaction and asked me if I needed my receipt which I said yes. Outside, while enjoying my ice cream, I noticed that she over charged me, adding items I didn’t order.
I went back to the store, she double checked and said that it was a mistake. I noticed that she was heavily breathing while fixing the transaction and I strongly don’t believe that it was a mistake. The prices on the menu are not same on the cash register, for example a pineapple soft serve priced at $6.00 they will charge you $6.24 plus $0.85 for a cake cone + $0.75 non cash fee. This is definitely not a honest business, I will never go back to that store.

I got the bubble waffle smores and the whipped ice coffee. Everything was really good recommend the one I got. The place was also very cozy. Will be coming here again :))

A Hidden Gem in Lake Arrowhead!

I can't say enough good things about Village Ice Cream and Sweet Shoppe! Their ice cream is absolutely top-notch—creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor. It’s clear they put a lot of care into offering high-quality treats. And the hot coffee? Just perfect—smooth, warm, and exactly what we needed to complement the chilly mountain evening.

What really stood out, though, was their incredible service. We arrived a bit late, not realizing they had already closed, but they still welcomed us with warm smiles and served us without hesitation. That level of kindness and dedication to their customers is rare these days and made our experience truly unforgettable.

My experience at this ice cream parlor was disappointing. Despite speaking clear English without an accent, I had to repeat my order three times before the staff understood me. Initially, I thought the noise from a group ahead of me might be the issue, but even after they left, I still had to point to the photo and loudly say, "Dole Pineapple in a cup!" before I was understood. The service was frustrating, and unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for it—the churro and Dole Pineapple were bland. Given this experience, I won’t be returning. A word of caution for non-English speakers or those with darker skin tones: be prepared for possible difficulties in communication.
