I think this place need to be fine-tuned a bit. I love supporting independent coffee shops because the quality and effort they put into their product and brand. But this one lacked in that. The speed of service was slow and glitchy. They weren't ready for service, the welcome was basic. Latte was great! sandwich cold in the middle and hot on the outside not thrilling and I really didn't care for my pastry. I will say the register person was nice. I would love to support this place because we need a local place in this neighborhood. But you gotta do better in service. I paid $23 with a $3 tip. I don't feel it was worth it. I would most definitely come back for my iced latte.

I used to go to the OG location in North Hollywood so I was thrilled when this location opened up. If you love tea, their selection is awesome and they’ll do their own blends that are super refreshing. Their pastry selection is on point and I love that they’ll make breakfast sandwiches. It’s a bummer there isn’t much space to stick around and enjoy your beverage while you work or something, so don’t expect a big space. But it’s still delightful and I’m so glad there’s a good coffee shop in the area that isn’t a giant corporation.

Love the intimate friendly atmosphere, delicious drinks, and yummy baked goods. I’ll often ask the staff to surprise me with a drink creation of their choice and so far have not been disappointed.

Well what can I say? One Shiny Squirrel puts the brightness in your day!!! It is the most delicious and decadent desssert in a cup. And if you’re feeling savory, put your shoes on and Guac this Way for a sandwich that’s a rock ‘n rollin’ good time!!

Really great coffee spot. The owners are delightful, the Sammie’s are delicious and the coffee totally rocks. 10/10 yummmms.
Vegetarian options: Love the Guac this Way for a Sammie, and the pastries are all tasty. Lots of milk options for drinks as well.

Love this spot for totally easy to customize breakfast options: jalepeño cheese bagel with cream cheese, tomato, salami and everything seasoning my fav. And, so many yummy drinks! Dark Mocha bc I like to start my day with dessert. ;) Chill vibes and fun people here too.
Vegetarian options: Pretty much all the drinks can be made vegan by subbing oat, almond, soy, or macadamia milk.Most pastries are vegetarian (some vegan) and the majority of the breakfast sandwiches are veggie - esp Guac this Way, Millenial (avocado toast), and Caffeinated Caprese.
Dietary restrictions: Nearly everything can be ordered ala carte and customized to suit most dietary preferences (gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, sugar free, sodium free) easy to adjust.
Parking: The parking lot is large, but sometimes gets crowded- plenty of free street parking though!
Kid-friendliness: Def a kid-friendly spot :) all the yummy adult options available without the espresso, like raspberry white chocolate blendie (frap), or lavender steamed milk with lavender whipped cream!

Super cute local coffee shop that gives back to the community!!! If you mention you are a part of one of the four schools off of Balboa and Vanowen the school receives 10% of every order! A really beautiful initiative. Also the drip coffee is smooth and yummy! The batista even offered me a free sample in a cute espresso cup to try before I buy. Love this place!! 5 stars all around ✨️ ?

As a teen, I am constantly dealing with my annoying parents (ugh) and the social pressures of high school. Escaping here during my lunch breaks and grabbing a caramel latte makes me forget all about the homecoming T and lets me live out my true Gilmore Girls life style. This place is lit!
