Upon visiting the venue, it smelled of smoke, despite assurances that there wouldn't be any on the event day. I attempted to negotiate the price down to $50 per person due to the small lunch menu, and was told the owner, Grieg, would call to discuss. Grieg called, refused to work within my budget, and suggested I go down the street for burgers, all while being rude and yelling. I informed him that I couldn't trust working with someone like him. After reaching out to others who had weddings there and confirming the horrible food, I'm relieved it didn't work out. Avoid wasting your time with such a rude owner!"

The banquet is quite nice and large! We have a soft spot in our hearts for this location because we adore the constant lighting, which is ideal for our photobooth and portrait photography. If you're organizing a wedding, be sure to plan early and make sure there's adequate space for your guests! Expect to pay at least 20% in other miscellaneous additions but you can save if you hire non-venue related contractors/photographers, just make sure you mention this to the one managing your event!

I had graduation party Couple weeks ago February 1st.2020For my daughter who’s done with Master's in RN so it was really big deal for us.I tried googling to find Banquet Hall bear my house for this celebration first thing popped was “Pure Banquet Hall “ I was really impressed by their awesome customer service especially “Vilette the Manager “ she’s the most nicest person I ever seen. The place was incredible beautiful the food was delicious and the service members was awesome friendly , helpful and super clean which I love ❤️We all had a wonderful time with their VIP service with those beautiful people at “Pure Banquet Hall Lake Balboa California “ my daughter and my whole family was happy and had a great time.Thank you for everything you done for us Vilette jan!Best regards!Yassi

The decor and the venue set up is perfect. The dance floor is perfectly placed in the middle of the room, with plenty of room. The food was also very good. I would definitely recommend this location for small occasions.

I was a guest for a wedding here, and thought the venue was a great banquet hall. Easily holds 100 people comfortably. Great up-lighting, and wonderful decor for those that like the glitz and glamour. Lots of space in the foyer for a photo booth, like my friend had. I don't know if this helps anyone but here's extra random information: Two stalls for women restroom. For men, two urinals and one stall. Nearest ATM was the liquor store the next plaza over.

Pure banquet hall it's a nice place for birthday parties, showers,Christening parties and weddings but with limited quantity of guests because their halls are not so big but well decorated with friendly staff.
