I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet! I've been going here for years and I actually go every week sometimes twice a week. This place has great traditional Mexican food recipes. All the comfort food that you love. I always like sharing great restaurants that can save you money, This is not one of those . prices are fair but for us it's one of the more expensive places we go because it so good. The service is excellent from all the staff. We go there so much that the wait staff usally bring out things we always order as we are seated before we order it. The photo below is of one of our favorite waiters Armando and his trainee Alexa.
So go look for Armando and give this Restaurant a try.
Our food was very hot but very good.
As someone raised by a true, born-and-raised Mexican who cooked authentic dishes at home, I have to say this food really missed the mark for me. The flavors are very Americanized and lack the depth and authenticity I grew up with. The margaritas were also disappointing—made with syrupy mixes that reminded me of cough medicine. I know this might sound harsh, but I believe many of the high ratings may come from people who aren't familiar with traditional Mexican cuisine. If you're looking for truly authentic Mexican food, this probably isn’t the place.
For a place that is going to start price gouging people for extra cost for chips and salsa, make sure your restaurant is up to par. The inside looks like a third world. You will loose customers being greedy for all your price hikes and yet the restaurant is falling apart and you have never upgraded. Where's all that extra money going, owner's pockets?!
Everyone was so attentive and friendly. The food was great. It’s a happy place.
The crab enchiladas had imitation crab, not good at all. They used to have real crab.
Fantastic Mexican food... At a reasonable price

Visiting the city from out of town. Friend and I came to this place for the first time. Food was great and service great…
You will get charged $2.50 if you request another basket of chips - first basket is complimentary. I only requested one additional basket - so not sure if they charge with each additional basket. If you’re with a family, consider this as part of the total of the bill.

I had not been here in some time. I usually go to the temecula restaurant. I was very surprised how good the food was. Great service as well. Will be going back.
Parking: They are doing work around downtown so it can be a bit of a pain.

Been a while since I had visited this place but it has been a staple in the City of Elsinore since I was a kid. The food was descent, service could have been better especially being an early lunch and it wasn’t crowded. The silver lining was that food did come out pretty quick and we didn’t wait long. Also, had a some rigged up set up at the front door, maybe reminisce from Covid, not sure but looks a little tattered and could use an upgrade.
