The Elsinore store is much better than the Menifee store. The Mac n cheese in Elsinore is served fresh, as the Menifee store is not. Usually cold and not as cheese. I have to take it home and nuke it.
I had a bacon cheese chicken sandwich combo it was really tasty. My boyfriend had a two-piece dark meat combo. One of his pieces of chicken was good the other was old crusty and dry. My major complaint with this restaurant was the fact that we had to use the kiosk to order. This place is ok. It's not the best or the worst. The food is sometimes very greasy esp the chicken sandwich. The fried chicken sometimes is a big piece, sometimes it is very small. The service is also hit and miss. The worst thing about Popeyes is how stingy they're about their sauces. It doesn't matter how much food you order, you don't give you sauces. They have you buy the sauce to go on the chicken that you already paid for.
