This is hands down me and my wife's favorite pizza in the area and has been for about 5 years now. Love the empanadas, too! But they really do something special with their pizza. Can't recommend enough.
What was special here is that, being Muslims who can’t eat the non-halal meat, or even have it contaminate our food, we asked them if they could prepare the veggie pizza with no meat contact and a clean or no cut so the knife wouldn’t contaminate the pizza either. The staff was super excited to bring to the counter our truly meat-free pizza, and the manager showed us a photo on her phone of the freshly cleaned knife used to cut the pizza. Stopped by for a beer after work. Grabbed the house salad and a spinache & cheese empanada. The creamy spicy sauce was legit. Watched an Expos vs. Yankees game from the mid to late 90's and exchanged pleasantries with the dude behind the counter. These brief yet lovely experiences are what life is all about.
