Best Korean food in South OC, in a nice clean restaurant with family vibes. We come here for family meals every couple of months, and get takeout for office lunch as well. For under $20 you can get this incredible bento for lunch, which can't be beat on price or quality when a sandwich nearby is almost $20.
Didn't know this opened in my area. Good to know a good korean spot that is a short drive.

Amazing food!
We found this place when looking for Korean barbecue. This, however, is not Korean barbecue. This is more Korean comfort food, not that I’m an expert. The restaurant is clean & modern in decor. The woman who appeared to be the owner was a beautiful hardworking Korean woman was answering phones, serving food, overseeing staff, cleaning & being a boss. We arrived on a weeknight, and it was bustling with people of all ages and ethnicities. Great experience & excellent food. We will be back!
Consistently excellent. Lunch deals are amazing! So much food. They only thing they could improve upon is that they need more help. It gets very busy during lunch.

Didn’t expect much but walked out very impressed. Highly recommend. Try the bulgogi, the kimchi fried rice, the Padak fried chicken, and the Ddeok-Bokki.
Restaurant seems family owned and operated. Staff very friendly and attentive, food came out quickly.
Really all spectacular, HanBop is the type of place OC — and Lake Forest in particular — needs much more of. I’ll be returning to try the whole menu!
Good food, has good vegetarian options, but miso is not vegetarian. My vegan friend like the rolls. I had the bulgogi and enjoyed it.
Cool spot tucked away in shopping center. Very clean, fair prices and good food. I recommend the short ribs..finger lickin! Service was slow, but it was lunch time, and 1 server was working.
Great food, especially their Rose's tteokbokki, perfect amount of spice for someone who can't handle spicy food! Also, they bring you not only water but also barley tea for free - I loved it!
