Brisket was dry, and they gave me the point, had to use to much bbq sauce

The worst gumbo of my life. I usually don't write restaurant reviews, but this gumbo was so bad it's haunting me days later. It just tastes like liquid smoke, had no onion or celery, and the pepper was red. God there was not enough veggies or meat to cut through the fact you're shoveling the liquid equivilant of charcoal into your mouth. The other food wasn't great, but for the sake humanity have the cooks try real gumbo or take it off the menu.

The barbeque here is delicious. My boyfriend absolutely loved the baby back ribs and devoured them like it was the best thing he ever tasted. Honestly, watching him eat ribs here was entertainment on its own.

Everything we ordered was delicious — from the baby back ribs, the brisquet, the mac and cheese, the sautéed veggies, to the complimentary warm apple butter biscuits (seriously addictive) to their amazing selection of table barbecue sauces.

When in the neighborhood, we’ll definitely be back.

Always tasty and consistent. A great menu of plenty of delicious options to choose from. Perfect for lunch, dinner, catering events and to-go!

I have been to this location a few times and never any issues, but tonight was not the same. Our waitress was friendly, however the service was extremely slow and the food came to the table at room temperature. The place was just about empty, so I have no ideal why we had to wait a long time for food that wasn't even hot.

Nice food and good environment

This is a power house in the region. This southern themed eatery has the food the staff and the square footage to host any event you need to get done. Culinary food multiple dining rooms for a tailor made dining experience. If your any where in the Irvine area stop and and see for yourself.

My favorite Lucille's is this one in Lake Forest. I visit twice a month, the staff is always friendly and helpful and the food is always good. It's a good place for business meetings.

Food was good, service was as well. I have had better, it is not one of my favorites. Only went because we had a gift card. Update from last visit they really need to do some TLC the booths need hostess stand are all lumpy.

I love this restaurant so much!!! It gives me lollipops and has a great menu of delicious meals and food!!! I can eat this for the whole week! I love the sauces!!!

5/2/25... got takeout today which was very very good; two bbq pulled pork sandwiches one with fries one with slaw and came with two biscuits!!!! Biscuits particularly yummy; highly recommend this Lucilles!!!... 2/3/23 Good food as usual BUT huge disconnect with service tonight during happy hour!!!!!! took half an hour to get the wrong order! Good news bartender was helpful as was Jordan; but again, our dinner was ruined. We'll be back though as this does not usually happen...........11/11/22: Another great night at this location! Food and service outstanding!!!!!! Thanks for honoring the Veterans. One of my rare 5 stars tonight! In spite of it being Veteran's Day with the pulled pork sandwich and side being complimentary our food and service in the bar were wonderful. We did dine at about 4:30 so that was helpful. By the time we left it was getting busy. In addition the patio was a busy place with the nice weather. This visit renewed our faith in the bar service! The food has never waivered here; even takeout during covid. Thanks.

Good service, mostly good food, but my baby back ribs were a little dry.
