My Go-To Spot for Comfort and Incredible Vietnamese Cuisine!
Maison De Pho is truly a hidden gem in Foothill Ranch! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff here consistently go above and beyond to make every visit feel special—like you're dining with friends who care.
The food? Absolutely amazing. Whether it's a bowl of pho on a chilly day or one of their flavorful rice or noodle dishes, every bite is a delight. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are spot-on every single time. I’ve tried a variety of dishes here and have never once been disappointed—each meal is crafted with care and authenticity.
Maison De Pho has quickly become my favorite comfort food destination. When I need a place to relax, recharge, and enjoy a consistently delicious meal, this is where I go. I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you haven’t been yet—go. You’re in for a treat!
Granted it is difficult to get good Vietnamese food or coffee in lake forest, Maison de Pho is only ok, not super cheap and food could be more authentic. The coffee at $5 in a styrofoam cup and didn’t taste like Vietnamese coffee . A genuine Vietnamese coffee shop anywhere in lake forest could do great, boba bee does does great iced coffee and boba but not hot.
Great little Pho place, has rice dishes and vermicelli as well.
I’m generally not picky with pho. I can usually tell if a pho restaurant’s broth will be good or not if I can smell the meat and spices went I walk in. I should have known then. The broth was very bland and didn’t really taste like pho. To be honest, it tasted like mop water if anything. Not a fan.
One of the best oxtail pho
As mentioned in one of the other reviews, the pricing on the menu outside is lower than the menu inside.
I’ve been to many Pho restaurants and this one was disappointing for a few reasons.
Besides just the pricing being high. The portions do not stack up to other restaurants. The broth was fairly bland, the protein included was sparse and tastes fairly gamey as if it was frozen for too long.
If you’re looking for good Pho, this won’t be the place to have it.
A large #1 pho and coffee was $23. And the large was by no means large compared to other places.
Ordered a large pho brisket for take out and got only two thin strips of beef. I ordered take out again at a later day thinking maybe it was just a fluke but it was the same thing. My friend and I did dine in at this location previously and we were served normal portions. This leads me to believe that they are scamming people who do take out by reducing the portions.

Is it legal to put lower price like small beef pho starting $11.5 on door and actual menu inside is higher like $15??
I gave a try anyways, this attitude reflects quality… tastes just normal, portions are small even I ordered Large.
I got Lesson and learn with “$16”, if business attitudes questionable, quality will be also questionable.

Went for lunch with my daughter and while we were getting our soft drinks I look behind the counter and the lady was serving our pho with her bare hands. With her bare hands just tossing some pieces of chicken in the bowl. No utensil, no glove. And when I said something in regards to that and that please I would like to cancel, she couldn't care less and swiped my card and voided my purchase. The lady who was serving wiped her hands on her butt and turned her back. If you are the owner of this business, please pay attention to who you hire. I used to buy food to go here all the time but not anymore. I am seriously disgusted. No hygiene and no courtesy.
Good food. Little pricey.

NOT VIETNAMESE OWNED. LATINO OWNED. Workers were nice. Other than that, I wouldn’t really call this place a pho place. I can tell they are missing ingredients, especially the right herbs to have that pho smell and flavor. Their soup is not real pho flavors. Their eggrolls aren’t really Vietnamese eggrolls either. They tried. Points for trying. Their fish sauce was not it either. Maybe they should have an actual Vietnamese person teach them how to cook our food. They tried though. Reviews are misleading, non-Vietnamese reviewers don’t know any better lol I should’ve known better when I walked in and didn’t smell pho throughout the restaurant. Nice people though. But wouldn’t recommend as “pho”.
