This is the worst pho place I have ever dined at. I even gave them 18% tip and asked for extra basil, but they only gas me own stem of basil with barley any basil leaves on it. And large pho only had three pieces of meats. And they are very stingy with noodles. The matcha tea was $7 for one cup serving. They put extra ice in there so you only get a few sips out of the drink. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!! It is. Biggest scam!!!!!

When I was paying, the server stood right next to me watching as I was choosing the tip, which made me feel pressured. After I selected “custom,” they showed attitude and slammed the payment machine on the table. It was really uncomfortable and honestly quite intimidating. I came here to enjoy a meal, not to feel pressured or scared when paying.

One of our favorite Vietnamese spots — the food is always great and the staff are genuinely kind. They accidentally missed one of our noodle dishes, but after we mentioned it they were so apologetic and even took it off the check. Their sincere attitude was really touching. Great food and even better service — we’ll definitely keep coming back. ☺️

Literally the best VN food in Lake Forest. I’ve been trying various VN restaurants in the area and their pho/BBH has not been up to par with the flavors I was used to (my family runs a VN restaurant so I recognize which flavors are good). Pho Tam Cali hits the spot with the right seasoning, and I’ve been back twice already and I’ll likely be a frequent customer. Great pho broth, spicy pho broth is like BBH but no BBH noodles or veggies :( that’s my only wish for menu change. Banh mi’s are excellent, as is the Che Thai. Highly highly recommend.
