EVERYONE WHOM NOT BEEN HERE BEFORE!!! YOURE MISSING OUT!!! Delicious food and huge portion for what you pay!!! My large fries was tripled lithe fries compared to other places n my burgers were twice the size of any regular burger places around here. Damn I love it. Absolutely you need to give it a try .

We like the old Douglas burger chain better but the staff was great the pastrami meat good but we prefer the toasted roll dipped into dip. Jeff

I’ve been going to the Original Hat since I was a kid after Dodger Games. I was excited to see this one in Lake Forest, and it didn’t disappoint. Great Pastrami’s, and my wife LOVES the turkey burger. This is now one of our go-to’s.

Just the right amount of grease. This is the place to go to if you don’t care about a diet, you aren’t on Ozempic, and you’re ready to party. The pastrami sandwich is absolutely insane.so much meat. I mean so much meat. I don’t know how much meat but the lady just kept putting more and more meat on the sandwich. Get the small fry cause if you get the big fry it’s in a shopping bag. Best part they are fast. They are friendly and they have a wide selection of sodas.

I had the steak sandwich. What a disappointment! It was not even close to what it was 10 years ago. The beef was very thin and tasteless. Not good. I would much rather pay more than $ 12.60 for a thicker steak with taste.

It's the HAT! Never disappoints. Great sandwich, great rings, great portions, fast service,.orange whip and pineapple drink as well . Can't go wrong!

First off it’s Not. Christmas stop with the holiday music . 2nd I could not even understand the cashier he spoke zero English . 3rd these are not the same onion rings that the other locations serve. Very heartbreaking that you are not serving the same product . I am a pastrami snob and this is not the same taste as other locations nor is this down town Tijuana . Lake forest is an upscale city I should have gone to my fav location in rancho where customer service is spin on and they are friendly and speak English !
