I ate from this restaurant before and it was last year. I believe I ate the tandoori chicken, and it was extremely spicy. It got me sick with severe coughing flu. The food was garbage due to the high intense heat. How can a restaurant make such spicy food!? I cannot recommend.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant I've had in Orange County. We've tried numerous places but I just keep coming back here. I especially love their chicken tikka masala and their shahi paneer. The curries don't come with rice so make sure to order rice on the side. We also got the lamb korma which was pretty good, although the lamb flavor came through pretty strong, which isn't my favorite. I also love their naan. We demolished it, dipping it in the delicious curries!

I have a looong history with this location. Years ago, we found Royal Rasoi and loved, loved their beautifully layered sauces. Then the staff had a falling out, and whoever won control must've lost the recipes cuz the food was banal. Every six months or so I'd stop by to see if anything changed, and then...Royal India showed up. Naturally, I hoped against hope they could somehow replace what we'd had before--which they did, and possibly even better! The sauces are nuanced and balanced: my wife says her teeth start trembling when she smells her chicken tikka masala. The mgmt. and staff are warm, attentive, and caring. We LOVE this place!

Pass by this restaurant many times on i5 ElToro junction. Decided to stop by for lunch. I had the buffet because I wanted to try a bit of everything. It was delicious. Really enjoyed the flavours. The buffet even comes with freshly made garlic naan. What a surprise. I am from Singapore, so I miss the tastes of Asia and Indian cuisine. Before leaving I ordered Lamb Bryiani and Masalla dosa to go for my daughter. I shall return. Even the Masalla tea is refillable. I highly recommend this place.
Service is great, lentils soup little more flavor, I feel.raita needed mint? The chicken tika masala was good, desserts were very sweet, samosas were ok. My spouse tried everything, and said was ok, curry not too spice, coliflower was little salty. Over all is a place to deserves a come back to try it again.

Delicious, varied Indian food, impeccable and friendly service, white table cloth, choice of tables along the windows, perfect venue size, champagne brunch on Sundays but really a full buffet is offered everyday. Just add the champagne! And very reasonable.
