It’s a bummer that Wienerschnitzel closed its Irvine location, but I wanted to introduce my daughter to this fast food chain so we made the drive out to Lake Forest. I remember seeing a promo about their unbelievable $6 chili cheese deal which included two chili cheese dogs and chili cheese fries…now that’s what I’m talkin’ about! I didn’t see any signage about it when we arrived at the restaurant and it wasn’t on the menu, but I was able to order the deal. I also picked up two corn dogs for my daughter. Service was friendly and they even brought our order out to us when it was ready.
My only gripe was that the air conditioning was busted and coincidentally it was a hot day outside. They had some electric fans running indoors, but a meal just isn’t as enjoyable when you’re sweating while eating. I also downloaded their app and besides the ordering function, I didn’t see any reason to use or keep the app because Wienerschnitzel doesn’t appear to offer points or rewards accumulation, membership deals, etc. Having said that, I’ll be back next time when I’m hungry for a hot dog!

I got to try Wienerschnitzel for the first time after signing up for their email list. They sent me a coupon to try one of their Chili dogs for FREE and I took their offer!
The front lobby was very clean and the woman at the front desk was very kind. I wish I had gotten her name.
The Chili dog itself was good. The flavor of the chili could have used a little more seasoning for my tastebuds. Yet, I'd give it a 4/5.
I would definitely try them again to see what other flavors Wienerschnitzel has to offer.

The jalapeno poppers are Great. Wasn't busy when we went so we got our food right away after ordering and sat down.
This is the 4th time I’ve come to this location at 11:15 and they are not supposed to close until 12pm!! We drive all the way over here and the light are off and the place is closed. Do better!! Not happy
