2nd time ordering: ordered mushroom chicken combo and jalapeño chicken combo. The chicken items were really good. However, the fried rice and chow mein in both combos were so bad—they smelled and tasted off as if it was spoiled and old. Pretty sad that that happened, makes me not want to order from there again.

Overall, kind of okay. Just a bit too much grease and I get full fast after about 10 bites. Great Boba, though.

I am a big fan of Chinese fast food. So I usually have to compare mom n pop places to Panda Express. Most of the time I would rather eat at Panda because Panda usually tastes better even though they give you less food than the mon n pops.Wok Express though has very good flavors in all the dishes I tried. Not too often you see eggplant offered at these kind of establishments and I was fortunate to be around right when they brought it out of the kitchen. This was definitely an Asian taste I haven't experienced too often at Chinese fast food.Im sure the food quality can vary based on how long its been sitting out but because I was able to try something straight out of the kitchen I can tell you will get pretty good food if you order a la carte. I ordered around 1130am for lunch and food was still coming out of the kitchen. Anyway its probably my new favorite Chinese fast food place for the time being.

Family run Chinese restaurant, extremely nice people, better portion sizes than Panda Express.

It had been several years since my CSUN days that I visited Wok Express... and was pleased to find there is Still fast, friendly service and great food. The mushu chicken and chow mein were both delicious.

This place is absolutely amazing! Every time I come here I've tried something different. This place honestly is a little gem. Prices are reasonable and the staff are always so nice. I actually went in person to pick it up because I order Uber eats from here often, still taste exactly the same and I love it.

A great alternative to Panda. Good selections of Chinese dishes and I come here for the chow mein or noodles. Panda's noodle is not my favorite but this place hits the spot. The portion is also generous and the best part? They open late!

I've been seeing a lot of Chinese food to-go posts, most notably from Ms. Tina M. from Bakersfield, and her "gasmic" descriptions just makes me yearn for some Chinese to-go....food that is! :-)Searched, and Yelp directed me here.Let me preface this review by saying my 3-star rating DOES NOT mean this place is bad. In fact, it's a great place for some cheap eats! Plus, their portions are generous! They pack it up high, well enough for two or another meal the next day.I got the 2-item combo, with choices of rice, noodles, and 2 meat/veggie dishes. I opted to double-up on the noodles instead of fried rice, and chose the ORANGE CHICKEN, and GREEN PEPPER/ONION PORK CHOP. Too bad that the Mongolian Beef wasn't an option 'coz that was really what I was craving for. However, the two I picked filled me up.I much prefer the Orange Chicken from Panda Express, but their Chow Mein surely is a winner. On the other hand, the Green Pepper Pork Chop is their signature, with a unique taste, and one that's notable.I also got their SALT and PEPPER WINGS, and GOSH this one was disgusting. It wasn't the kind of Salt and Pepper Wings I had been craving for. So, this one went straight to the trash.Overall, this is an awesome place for affordable fast Chinese food. Their portions are generous, and prices are very reasonable.
