We stayed in one of the cabins. Beautifully renovated. Super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were all new sink, toilet and shower stall. Love that they kept the rustic appeal with original doors and windows. Cute little replica Frigidaire mini refrigerator. Microwave and coffeepot too. The heater works well and kept us plenty warm and plenty of hot water. Wish we could have stayed longer such a beautiful view of Huntington. Just a stroll to the water.Pat

We stayed at Lakeshore Resort for the long weekend. The experience was amazing all around- the staff, the food, the evening entertainment, and of course the stunning views. Linda, Shula, Erin, and Mary were wonderful. They treat you like family .Nothing beats spending a weekend at 7200 feet! Will definitely be back again. P.S. the breakfast burrito and wings are a must try!

I heard a lot of bad rumors of this place prior to taking my trailer. It is clear the new owners have turned this place around. The bathrooms are great and all remodeled. The laundry room is nice with new washer and dryers. All the new cabins in the trailer area look really nice and I spoke to a couple who stayed in one and they said they loved it. There are a lot of nice hiking trails around and the lake is in walking distance. When reading the reviews stick to the ones made...read full review
