My gryro has fries in it and didn't have much of a tzasiki sauce in it and the meat was dry. Place is nothing like jons the previous place that was here before. Also turns out they used flour tortilla instead of pita or even Naan bread. So yea very disappointed

I loved everything I tried here! The dumplings were great and the bolani was something I had never had before. It is delicious and paired well with the curry to sop up all of the sauce. The vegetable curry was nicely hot, and the only time I have had okra that I liked! I’m looking forward to trying more dishes!

When I want authentic Afghan food I come here!! It's so delicious and the flavors pop! They serve it with the respect and passion food deserves! I will be back again after we win the finals next Sunday ?

This was one of our favorite places before the change in ownership. Unfortunately the quality has gone way downhill. The meat was way over cooked and had no flavor. The fries were soft and way undercooked. They messed up our order and gave us two full meals instead of individual kabobs like we wanted so our lunch for 2 was over $40. I feel bad leaving a poor review for a small business but the food was absolutely terrible. We won’t be going back.

The food was inedible. The beef kabobs had no flavor and were dry and tough. The rice had no flavor either. I miss the old owners and their food. I don’t know who is posting 5 star reviews, but don’t trust them. We won’t be eating from here again.

A DELICIOUS experience! We’ve never had Afghani food before so we tried their Kabul Green Special, came with lamb, chicken and beef skewers with roasted tomatoes and peppers, salad and uniquely baked bread. Also ordered side of rice. This is crave worthy! We’ll be back!!!

Finally, authentic afghan food in east county. I really enjoy all the "home cooked style" items e.g the Qabli Pilav and the Qorma.Dont forget to try the Bolani!

There’s a lot of Afghan restaurants in San Diego claim they make authentic Afghan cuisine but Kabul Green Restaurant has proven not in quality but also quantity. We hired them for our party and they gave us their best. Kabuli Palao and all other dishes were prepared with details. Our guests were satisfied with the quality. We will use their catering service again. Their dine in place is really cool and it gives you the vibe of those restaurants in Kabul city.
