Went to Carl’s Jr the other day and a nice girl with blonde curly hair was my cashier and she was so nice to me and her recommendation were amazing! She recommended the California classic and I loved it! I will definitely be coming back here again.

This location had the best Famous Star Beyond Meat. The shift manager Isanel and his shift staff Serena were surprised and happy why me and my wife ordered the Famous Star with Double meat but we ordered an extra patty and said that we were hungry. They were happy to make these for us. He even delivered our order to our table with a smile! Great burgers and amazing people.

Bummed. Just got home with my food. In the drive through I asked for fresh fries (I've gotten really old ones from this location before). When opened the bag, the fries taste like they dipped them in the fryer again (hot but chewy) and the sandwich was cold. I had to put it in my microwave. They need some quality control oversight at this location.

So because me and my Mother are busy today and wanted something to eat, we decided to come here as we did not feel like having an In-N-Out burger (a place we casually frequent). We typically like Carl's Jr. due to their burgers usually being good and the fact that they have the lettuce wrap alternative, but this particular time was soured due to unprofessional customer service and mediocre food.I decided to have the new special, The Big Char Chile Combo, while my Mom had her usual, The Double Western Bacon Lettuce Wrap. Upon eating it, we noticed it was cold. Nothing about the food was hot, and my Mom's, in particular, was bland and cold. It was a turn-off and would make me not come back as we rarely frequent this particular spot; but the main thing that caused me to write this is the Customer Service.I usually drink quite a bit of soda or water when I am eating, so when I got up for the second time, my Mother noticed that the man behind the counter was just staring at me suspiciously along with a cook that was sitting down, something to note they particularly stopped doing when i looked at them in a general view. It was something I started to notice, majorly from the males working than the females, when we got up to leave. It was weird and made the experience uncomfortable; especially when you take something into consideration.Once again, due to California's politics, you are seeing an odd situation where many employees are now specifically Latino and particularly treat themselves like a family that can not be shaken. Many cannot speak full English, do not keep up with proper sanitation (my Mother saw one of the female employees scratching her hair and steadily cooking along with the chairs having marks from people's shoes and have not been cleaned up, making it uncomfortable to sit at), are rude, and do not keep up to simple business etiquette. I have been through a similar situation before with this specific community at other restaurants, and it becomes interesting when you are being looked at suspicious despite conveniently ignoring someone of a similar nationality doing something that could be suspicious or harmful towards the business.I'm not sure what brought the attention, I had paid for the drink (see receipt below), had my receipt, and was minding my business. There was a white customer who came in and was not treated with the same uninterested attitude and behavior. I hate getting into this because I do not live my life with this perspective of always being leery of racism or something, but if we are to start treating certain people with a sense of discrimination, then this can go both ways. Like I stared, many I find in restaurants are specifically Latino, with many of similar employees working together who are of a similar nationality and treat each other as a family. Many, I am sure, are connected to the politics involving this community and California's politics and would be wise to watch their behavior because it can lead to comments and discriminatory behavior involving this. The type of comments and behavior that many in this community would decry as Racism.Possibly won't come back unless some necessary improvement is made, especially with the customer service and employees.
