The cookies themselves? Genuinely excellent. Big, warm, and packed with flavour — definitely lived up to the hype. I tried a couple of the weekly specials and would’ve gone back again if I’d had more time in Downey.

“We showed up 30 minutes before closing, expecting long lines but there were only a couple of people ahead of us. Our 3 cotton candies were made fast, and were super cute. The employees were very nice, friendly, and patient. This place is great for people of all ages.“

“I absolutely love coming here for funnel cakes! My favorite is the Strawberry Sundae, with fresh strawberries and a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream on top—it is just heavenly. The portions are large, so I usually share with friends since it is hard to finish alone. Next time, I am excited to try one of the chocolate options.

The staff is always kind, and the place is clean and well-kept, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. Parking can be a little tricky at times, yet the amazing treats make it worth the small effort. “First time here and did an improv trip down to try their wide matcha selection! From different matcha drink flavors to soft serve ice cream, there was a lot! I opt to try their OG stuff first so I went with their level 3 matcha latte in oat milk and their parfait to make my trip worth it! It didn’t disappoint me. It didn’t taste water down matcha that you’ll get at other stores that make matcha. But it’s not as rich tasting ask rok or maru coffee’s matcha to my preference. Overall still hit 10/10! I tried the churros two days back to back couldn't get enough because it tasted so healthy. Not so sugary even tho it has strawberry syrup and lechera and all that surgery stuff. It was great. You can asd has fruits like Mango,strawberries,blueberries,banana to your churros and funnel cakes and ice cream as well all delicious . “Not only adorable, but tasty too!!! I accidentally came across Sweet Box only because I wanted to walk off my lunch and the mall was an air conditioned place to do it. So I was wandering with no destination in mind and I come across the Sweet Box kiosk. So freaking cute!!! This place is NOT cheap and being that the macarons were so cute, I figured they only looked good but didn't hold much weight in the flavor department. I was wrong. I enjoy macarons on rare occasions because they are usually too sweet. However, Sweet Box did a great job with the balance of sweetness, chewiness, and presentation. I would definitely recommend this place to others. After bringing them home and trying them, I was thinking of who's bday was coming up so I could buy them some. Out of the dozen I bought, the Earl Grey was my favorite. The Strawberry was good as well as it had a real fruit flavor to it. Piece of advise. Don't let them sit in your car or in a warm area as the filling will melt. I learned the hard way. I still ate all of them though. The service was good but I did feel a little rushed. I didn't understand why being that there was no one in line but I did feel rushed. She wasn't rude but she kept looking over her shoulder like she had something else to get to.“

They have taco al carbon estilo Tijuana, Quesadillas a mano, Birria and many more things on the menu.

Craving these super addictive Croffles? Try these waffle croissant desserts from @crofflehousela ?? They come sweet or savory. We tried their Fruity Pebbles and Oreo - customer favorites! The perfect snack!

I was looking forward to it having a stick with the Croffles, like the pictures and videos I’d seen but we got it without it. They are topped with Thrifty ice cream so you have to be quick to eat because it starts melting. When people take it to go, the croffles are packed separately to put together at home. The croffle can be put in an air fryer or toaster oven to warm up and get the crispiness.

They are only open on Sundays 12-5pm inside of Luv 4 Nutrition, which is why it took me so long to try this place. From seeing the videos, I was looking forward to trying it! I love the vibrant orange wall, which brightens up the room. There are plenty of tables and chairs.

I was disappointed to not be able to try more flavors, which weren’t available. I spoke with Cece about some new things she has in the works and I think it’s going to be great to draw more people in. I think Croffle House has a lot of potential and I look forward to seeing the next level that Cece takes it to!“

“My quest for vegan churros has ended in this quaint churro spot in South Gate. I’ve driven many times down Santa Ana and not seen this place - 4 months has this establishment has been open and it is now my spot for churros and horchata coffee. The lady is nice and welcoming . She made fresh churros for me and the taste was unforgettable. The fact they’re vegan makes it even more delicious. I’ll be back for more and more.“
