George's has been a staple in the community and the Lakewood location has struggled since COVID. The new owner has really stepped up the brunch with so many new offerings (think omelette and egg station, huge dessert station, more options for kiddos). We really enjoyed the new brunch and highly recommend eating here. They have all the traditional food the original owners made a trademark for the restaurant as well. This has always been one of my favorite spots to go to when I reminisced of past visits to Greece. I was happy to hear the Sunday brunch returned, only to find almost all of the food lukewarm, at best. The coffee tasted like something an airline would serve (in styrofoam cups), and we had to waive down the server several times for drink refills. We weren’t even done and the check arrived as if we needed to expedite our departure, yet only being there for around one hour and...
