“If you look at the older pictures, you'll notice Amigos supermarket. That is correct. This gem is located in a Supermarket. The previous address was wrong, I submitted an update. The location is 8101 Buena Vista Blvd, Lamont, CA 93241 inside Amigos Supermarket.

The owner, she's very nice. Easy to get along with. While, it's not a traditional sit down restaurant, the food is really good and served in big portions. Everything is homemade. Traditional plates from El Salvador.

The menu has changed as she shared business has been slow, but I can only assume it's because of the wrong address. Only reason I found this place a year ago was because I looked at that supermarket picture and searched the name to go to this address. I make the drive to Lamont just to have pupusas. I definitely recommend.“

“My wife and I stopped for quick lunch on our way to Las Vigas. We ordered the shrimp pupusas and the bean & cheese one. The food was yummy (while a little too salty), and the atmosphere was inviting. Hopefully, we could have a chance to come over again.“

“This place is slept on, all the food I've had here has been delicious. I love the plaintains and the black beans especially. Servers are very accommodating and speak both English and Spanish. The horchata mexicana is great. I usually get the huevos con vegetales y ejotes (eggs with vegetables and green beans) and it is always amazing. I have enjoyed the pupusas and fajitas as well.
The only issue is that recently there has been a bit of a sewage smell when we have walked in. I believe that the issue is due to old pipes because the bathrooms work fine. On our first few visits, this wasn't a problem so it seems to be a recent issue. You get used to the smell.“

“La comida en lo personal muy rica pero la atencion es realmente pesima, hace dias fui por primeira vez y el restaurant solo y la mesera con una mala actitud me atendio me avento la comida y nunca se acerco despues para ver si necesitaba algo tuve que pararme dos veces para pedir salsa y m mi cuenta. Si hise el comentario a la otra persona que estaba en la barra que fue pesima la Mesera y que no volveria mas por su mal servicio pregunte por el manayer pero no me dieron ninguna razon, Pues claro no les convenia! En fin no recomiendo un lugar donde parece que no les gusta su trabajo! Bye“
