Randomly went here for an early dinner. Absolutely amazing! Reminded me of being at home in Mexico. 10/10
We had such a great experience! The food was amazing, and the chilaquiles were definitely my favorite—they were so flavorful, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. Guisados Jalisco is a must-try restaurant in Bakersfield! The chilaquiles are crispy, delicious, and among the best around, with excellent salsa. The Carne Asada plate is a favorite, using Ranchera instead, and comes with shrimp. The homemade tortillas are a pleasant surprise and are made amaño, adding to the authentic taste. The Pupusas, especially the asada with cheese and chorizo with cheese, are a hit with the kids. The food is fresh and flavorful, exceeding expectations. Dishes like the sopa de gallina con pollo asado, Gorditas, and the champurrado, and atole de elote are highly recommended, all made with care. The Carne En Su Jugo is tasty and generously portioned.
