“10 out of 10 dining experience. My friend from Nor Cal came into town and was blown away! This is the best service we've ever received. Ask for Hannah. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was amazing. It was the best dinner I've ever had in Bakersfield.“
“Zama has the best Latin food in Bakersfield and if you like Latin food it is a must stop. This place is just beautiful, inside and out. It kept so clean and the service is amazing. When you arrive, you will be greeted and seated by the nicest people. Make a reservation or there will be a wait. The servers know the menu so well and can guide you to Latin fun. They also have great burgers and steaks. They have items for vegetarians as well.We loved everything we had and we ordered a lot of food. We started with this amazing spinach dip with the best bread. The guacamole is so good. It has goat cheese and green salsa. The beet salad was out of this world. So fresh and with such flavor. For dinner you must try the Ora Salmon, and the pollo con mole with black mole sauce and rice and beans. The have an amazing lava cake and you won't want to share so get two. They also have other great deserts.Everything at Zama is perfect. Enjoy.“
“OMG! The Crab Chilli Relleno at Don Pepe's is to die for. The poblano chili is stuffed with a generous portion of crab & cheese. It is topped with a yummy white sauce and more melted cheese. Just decadent! This locally owned Salvadoran restaurant has such a kind staff with delicious food. It is off the beaten path bath but certainly worth finding. If you want a scrumptious traditional meal, make this your next stop!“
“Stopped here while I was in Bakersfield for work and was very pleased. I ordered two pupusas and a horchata and the food and drink were both delicious and very filling. The food cost $13 with the $1 credit card fee. The server gave me a hot sauce to use and warned me it was very spicy and it was indeed very very spicy. Overall this place deserves 5 stars“
“We had a great lunch here table of 8 people. The fish and chips were great. Others had sandwiches and chicken picotta , and the chef Jose was making it happen in the busy kitchen. Everyone enjoyed their lunch choices. Dont eat the garlic fries there addictive lol. .We had fun with the lottery while we waited for our food they had the California lottery scratcher machine and keno. Our server Brittany could not have been any better taking care of us all. She seated us , got drinks, and served our food quickly. Just the right amount of time didn't feel rushed and didn't feel like we were waiting. We were out of there in an hour. Brittany tells us they offer weekday lunch each day. We had a great time! We sat in the front bar area. However, they have added a large covered seating area out back very nice addition. The place felt clean, and the bathrooms were clean. You must try this place at least once, and if you haven't been in a while like myself, there are a lot of changes for the good . I do recommend better ventilation in the kitchen for a couple of reasons, but im not complainingill go back. Overall, it was a great experience .Parking: Don't stress, parking is like any great hole in the wall , they don't have a huge parking lot but there's street parking and a short walk. Or get there outside of busy hours like noon . I'm not complaining about parking. I'd rather walk a ways to a good /fun place than pull right up to a bad one, lol don't let parking stop you. You could always drop off someone who doesn't walk well at the front door.“
“Went here for this first time a couple of weeks ago and have been back twice already. The food is delicious! I had the carne asada torta the first time. The flavor was amazing and they have a unique sauce that makes it even better. On top of the taste, which is most important, the size could be enough for two meals because it had a good amount of carne. Second time I had the Carne En Su Jugo. It was very tasty and lots of meat. Been back for the torta! I never left hungry!!I almost forgot, I did try a pupusa and it was sabrosa and a great price for the size.“
“Let me just start by saying ..I had stopped to get my son some tacos to go ..An the service was excellent..got our food with in a few minutes an as we left ..The smell that was coming out of the BAG ..Was mouth watering!! My son enjoyed them tacos an let just say ..He's a picky eater..but them 4 tacos was gone ...best tacos around..His own words ..“
“Rinconsito Latino is by far the best tasting Salvadoran food in Bakersfield! Great prices, good portions, and great costumer service, the environment is nice, is a bit small inside but they added a closed patio area, is really comfortable and feels like home. Overall I will recommend this place to anyone who asks for food recommendations in Bakersfield.“
“When I tell you this food was so bomb I didn't even have time to take a photo lol stopped by after seeing an instagram video and it did not disappoint. The decor was adorable. The tacos governador were 10/10! I could've ate like 10 of them And the earthquake fries were also delicious. To be honest the earthquake fries would've tasted better with some of the bell peppers and onions from the tacos governador but still good. And that fresh Jamaica was the cherry on top. Definitely going again.“
“Cool place for late night munchies. Lady that takes orders has great personality also knowledgeable if u have questions about menu or wanna try something different. Order/food that depends on cook but I've been pleased more often than not.“
“The best chicken I have ever had in my life! I want to give a big shout out to Elisa for always being so attentive with her on pointe customer service. The flavoring of the chicken beats Porto's just more authentic home made. There is so much more on the menu I want to try but haven't even gotten around to it. My decision to move to Bakersfield was influenced by places like this that I found in the city. Love this place!“
