“I'm like a food critic, and I'm from Alaska, and I came to this place from a gentleman named Vito Martinez who recommended this place to try out and introduce me to the owner. I have massive high-quality taste buds for tacos ? and more on the menu to try out. They chilaquiles Rancheros are by far the best I've tried in Bakersfield so far since I've been here for about a month, and they customer service is well mannered and helpful with a warm smile greeting, I'm a BIG fan of guacamole, and it tasted just like homemade of the way it should taste. The tacos has an amazing crunch and unique light flavor stuffed taco that I really enjoyed, and the Enchiladas de Mole was on point and the Shrimp Cocktail was a mouth watering flavore with unique texture and very big chonky mix all in one Big Cup, overall very fulfilling due to the massive portions?, so overall what I tried so far was perfect massive portions for just tacos for the right price to have a happy belly of enjoyment. If you wanna enjoy they food and stay cool from the heat, then come inside and park or walk here and enjoy the amazing atmosphere they have and the clean environment while dining in. They salsa and condiments are really homemade flavored salsas with a perfect thickness, so it doesn't run down my hand while or make a mess while enjoying my food. I highly recommend them for when you're hungry or family dine in or if you're in a hurry. One recommendation I would request is big flyer singns or lights of a guid to the restaurant when people drive by on the main roads for a more viewable seen and attraction. Wonderful experience here and they have karaoke on Taco Tuesdays and Fridays, and I'll be for sure coming back for more and other food to try on the menu. “Mauricio the cook deserves a damn raise and a party. I accidentally left my purse yesterday because my child was upset and I carried her out while my husband paid. I called this morning and the waitress said it wasn't there and sounded Shakey like she was scared so I felt suspicious. I came in anyway and the waitress was nowhere to be seen but Mauricio immediately said it was there and handed it over. I cried a little and tipped him for his honesty. Real gentleman are rare these days, he's a real gentleman. His honesty is refreshing and he really saved my ass today.“

“As someone who appreciates good Mexican food, Asada Grill never disappoints. I usually go for their burritos and have also tried their chilaquiles, which were excellent and full of flavor. Today I decided to try the shrimp burrito, and it was fantastic, fresh ingredients, well seasoned shrimp, and a great balance of flavors without being overly heavy.

What I like about this place is that the menu is simple, but the food is consistently fresh and flavorful. You can tell they care about the quality of what they serve. The portions are solid, the service is quick, and the food always hits the spot.

From their delicious, flavorful, mouth watering and award-winning carna asada tacos, to their seafood/aquachillies food; you'll come back every day begging for more! When we fly in, we visit this taco truck every day, 5-7 straight days in a row to partake of this beautiful and tactfully prepared food truck. “Located at the bear mountain truckstop this place is a GEM! Had 4 Carne Asada Tacos and they came out in in less then 10 mins and worth every penny
Paid 13 bucks and it also came with tortilla chips with their incredible beans. If you pass by come get the cheapest gas in the area alongside a fire taco truck“

“I went last night for the first time to get treats for my family , I walked out with 4 paletas , a corn in a cup , chocobanano, and two scoops of vanilla ice cream 🍨 🙂 Everything was delicious 😋 my family enjoyed everything! The girls working their were very nice and patient 🙂 totally recommend! As as far a language barrier ... I’m bilingual so I had no issues , but I did see their was a girl there speaking in English ! “Passing through from AZ to NorCal. Not much to eat that is highly rated in Bakersfield, so took a chance on a well rated food truck.

First time ordered a mix of chicken and ribs, a burrito and a pastor street taco to try.

Fantastic. We knew we’d stop in when we pass through later in the week to go home, and we did. 6 pastor tacos this time, and I cannot put into works how good these are.

Stop and get the pastor street tacos. Perfect meat to tortilla ratio, corn tortillas like they should be, just stop and get the tacos.

“This place has something called the grande burrito and they mean it this burrito is huge it can easily feed 2 people twice for just under 20$ and it's good you can order it anyway you like it if you ask them to thay will cut it in half and put it into two containers for two people I have a friend that is lactose intolerant and if you tell them they will put the cheese and dairy on the side and a little container so you can choose to add it or not me and my fam always give them a complicated order and they usually always get it right if thay don't they fix it in my opinion it's a low priced option to eat a lot of halfway healthy food in this day and age“

“I am so fortunate to live nearby the Arizona Cafe, some of the best and most consistent menudo in town and personally the one restaurant I have been able to count on for good, simple menudo that is pretty close to what my abuelito used to make. Over 20 years it’s been the same simple indulgence that I have firmly come to know as a staple in my life. Really appreciate the simple food and the simple service even on busy Sunday brunch days. Thanks for being a cornerstone and my go to menudo spot since I was a kid. With or without a hangover, it’s very good.“

“Bakersfield has a lot of Mexican restaurants. We had camped in the beautiful Sequoia National Forest for four days and were jonesin' for some Mexican food. We picked Agave based on Google reviews and its proximity to the freeway. We got lucky! The service was good, and the food was great! The smoky salsa they served with the fresh tortilla chips was the first indicator that we had chosen wisely. The chile verde was as good as my mamacita could've made. Even the beans and rice were tasty. We ordered from the lunch menu, but the portions were perfect. Highly recommend!“

But going to lavilla getting a burrito some tacos and a tortilla is the same price of not more and lower quality. I was not disappointed, so freaking good and the rice and beans have flavorrrrrr!!! Come here get the green sauce wet burritos with carnasada if I spelt that right. Host was amazing to this was right before closing. And I need a job hmu lol“

“The grande burrito should be labeled the muy grande burrito. Be aware that 1 can probably feed a family of 4. I was not aware of this coming to the restaurant, and now my wife and I had our two burritos for dinner, lunch, and dinner the next day. Overall pretty good.“

“New restaurant/bar opened up a little while back but yesterday was the first time in there. Sat up at the bar...Sunday morning...late. I ordered a melon margarita and it was pinkish in color, unlike the green melon look I had been accustomed to. So I asked the bartender Cass (sp?) how she made it. I wanted to know because it was very tasty, especially with the Tajin on the glass. Off to a great start! My brother ordered the menudo (Sundays) and he raved about it. Me, I ordered the huevos rancheros....off the friggin' hook!! I'm not going to say more, just come in and see what they are doing with the food. Close by too...I will be hanging out there....football on tv too!!! Sunday evening was packed so it looks like people know about this exquisite place to eat, drink, and live la vida loca!!! lol“
