We sat at a table for two across a three foot aisle from another two seat table. We literally could have reached over to eat their chips we were so close. “This place has something called the grande burrito and they mean it this burrito is huge it can easily feed 2 people twice for just under 20$ and it's good you can order it anyway you like it if you ask them to thay will cut it in half and put it into two containers for two people I have a friend that is lactose intolerant and if you tell them they will put the cheese and dairy on the side and a little container so you can choose to add it or not me and my fam always give them a complicated order and they usually always get it right if thay don't they fix it in my opinion it's a low priced option to eat a lot of halfway healthy food in this day and age“

“An unexpected stop when I first brought my car to the local Toyota service department. Even more unexpected was how good the food is. I got the birria street taco plate and the first bite of the tacos brought tears to my eyes, literally not figuratively.
Everything was made fresh and came out tasty, I might need to take my car in more often.

The atmosphere is relaxed and there's a good amount of seating with light foot traffic. Madysen was very helpful and made me feel welcome, a rarity in my few outings. The service was excellent and I left wanting for nothing.

“As someone who appreciates good Mexican food, Asada Grill never disappoints. I usually go for their burritos and have also tried their chilaquiles, which were excellent and full of flavor. Today I decided to try the shrimp burrito, and it was fantastic, fresh ingredients, well seasoned shrimp, and a great balance of flavors without being overly heavy.

What I like about this place is that the menu is simple, but the food is consistently fresh and flavorful. You can tell they care about the quality of what they serve. The portions are solid, the service is quick, and the food always hits the spot.

Definitely one of those reliable local spots when you’re craving a good Authentic Mexican food, always one my favorites.“

“I'm like a food critic, and I'm from Alaska, and I came to this place from a gentleman named Vito Martinez who recommended this place to try out and introduce me to the owner. I have massive high-quality taste buds for tacos ? and more on the menu to try out. They chilaquiles Rancheros are by far the best I've tried in Bakersfield so far since I've been here for about a month, and they customer service is well mannered and helpful with a warm smile greeting, I'm a BIG fan of guacamole, and it tasted just like homemade of the way it should taste. The tacos has an amazing crunch and unique light flavor stuffed taco that I really enjoyed, and the Enchiladas de Mole was on point and the Shrimp Cocktail was a mouth watering flavore with unique texture and very big chonky mix all in one Big Cup, overall very fulfilling due to the massive portions?, so overall what I tried so far was perfect massive portions for just tacos for the right price to have a happy belly of enjoyment. If you wanna enjoy they food and stay cool from the heat, then come inside and park or walk here and enjoy the amazing atmosphere they have and the clean environment while dining in. They salsa and condiments are really homemade flavored salsas with a perfect thickness, so it doesn't run down my hand while or make a mess while enjoying my food. I highly recommend them for when you're hungry or family dine in or if you're in a hurry. One recommendation I would request is big flyer singns or lights of a guid to the restaurant when people drive by on the main roads for a more viewable seen and attraction. Wonderful experience here and they have karaoke on Taco Tuesdays and Fridays, and I'll be for sure coming back for more and other food to try on the menu. “I am so fortunate to live nearby the Arizona Cafe, some of the best and most consistent menudo in town and personally the one restaurant I have been able to count on for good, simple menudo that is pretty close to what my abuelito used to make. Over 20 years it’s been the same simple indulgence that I have firmly come to know as a staple in my life. Really appreciate the simple food and the simple service even on busy Sunday brunch days. Thanks for being a cornerstone and my go to menudo spot since I was a kid. With or without a hangover, it’s very good.“

“Mauricio the cook deserves a damn raise and a party. I accidentally left my purse yesterday because my child was upset and I carried her out while my husband paid. I called this morning and the waitress said it wasn't there and sounded Shakey like she was scared so I felt suspicious. I came in anyway and the waitress was nowhere to be seen but Mauricio immediately said it was there and handed it over. I cried a little and tipped him for his honesty. Real gentleman are rare these days, he's a real gentleman. His honesty is refreshing and he really saved my ass today.“

“First off wow!!... I'm super picky but their food is very flavorful and decently priced. I got the chicharon con queso popusa, the pollo tamal, and a side of rice and beans. I really took a chance with the tamal since every tamal I ever have at a restaurant is either dry or too thick.. but when I tell you that this tamal was soft.. im serious!!.. the texture was just something I've never had even with a good tamal.. super moist, airy maza that was satisfying to cut into.. the beans were really flavorful along with the rice; the popusa was also great.. if you're used to the Mexican horchata flavor I would caution you to order one only and try it first before ordering more than one.. I personally didn't like it at all and didn't finish it but that's okay, it's just not the flavor im used to. Staff is friendly and seating is a bit crowded because the place is small, but if you're in town I highly recommend this place.“

“If you LOVE chilaquiles then this place is for you! It’s a small food truck.

My husband ordered the chilaquiles plate w/ chipotle sauce, asada meat, 2 sunny side eggs & the toppings they offer minus cilantro & he really loved it he said it was the right amount of spice without over doing it.

Now they do offer tacos & tortas as well but I would stay clear of ordered just a torta as it doesn't have any spread nor the bread to meat ratio is way off. I felt like I was eating more bread than anything else. My mom got 2 tacos & she also said they were okay for the most part. So that's why I would just recommend the chilaquiles since my husband seem to enjoy his meal the most.

Besides the food, they do have a little shop where you can sit and eat, it's small but it will do. When we went it wasn't busy so there was room for us to sit & also it felt nice inside not hot at all. The food did take some time to get to us but they had the tv going and our conversation with each other flowing we didn't notice how long it took.

Anyways if we're back would be just for the chilaquiles but might be awhile until we're back as we're not usually on that side of town.“

“The fajitas were amazing large portions. The regular salsa was in my opinion spicy but still flavorful. I shared my order with my daughter and there was plenty to share. The carne asada with delicious and seasoned perfectly. The tortilla chips seemed homemade and they bagged me some to go as well. The majority of the patrons were families and the menu cost is a minimum of $20 a person but the portions are well worth it.“
