“Wife wanted some shrimp and onion rings and I was craving some fish and chips as I haven’t found a place I liked since moving down to Bakersfield. Decided to try coconut joes and was pleasantly surprised. Place is a gem. Nice beach vibes took me back to when I lived in So. Cal and would be hanging out on Main Street in Huntington Beach. Got the fish and chips the shrimp and onion rings and a tri tip sandwich. Everything was fantastic and loved the fish and chips and I only used to like H. Salt fish and chips but now when I’m in the mood for fish I know where to get it. Come on down and enjoy and nice relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff and amazing food“

Parking: It’s in the same parking lot as a gas station, tucked in the back. There are blue tables. Plenty of parking every time we come.

Kid-friendliness: There was a family with children and a stroller with baby. They were so cute and happy.

Wheelchair accessibility: There’s plenty of room for a wheelchair, may have to go over a little speed bump ( it’s actually a cord protector)“

“If you want the very tastiest, off the charts flavor shrimp cocktail then you have come to the right place. I’m not going to lie, first impression was a small trailer with a table to eat right in a gas station parking lot but All that fades away once you begin eating. The Clamato base and perfectly chopped veg and cilantro and tons of good size shrimp! They are not skimpy but generous to a fault in my opinion than most restaurants will offer and topped with ripe avocado slices! We were served both tostada style tortillas and saltine crackers and napkins and soup size spoons. The 32 oz tall cup was rimmed with Michelada Sal con Chile! PERFECTION in a cup. The proprietors are clean cut, nice uniforms and very accommodating and friendly and bilingual. We will return because there was nothing preventing us from becoming repeat loyal customers. The menu is extensive too! Bravo! Enthusiastic thumbs up! Well done! The 32 oz was large enough for 2 people to be satisfied (on this occasion). Try them once I guarantee you will be satisfied too“

From beginning to end, everything was handled professionally, and the food and service helped make the evening truly special. 🌎✈️🥂 A huge shout-out to Kalli, our server! She was busy from setup all the way through cleanup, making sure all five food stations stayed stocked, organized, and hot throughout the evening. She was friendly, attentive, and always checking to make sure everyone had what they needed. Her hard work definitely did not go unnoticed! ❤️ And Kristen, our bartender, was the STAR of the night! 🍹👏🏽 I gave her quite the assignment with five different signature cocktails—one for each destination—and she executed them to perfection! “We recently had my daughter's quinceanera there, and it was so much fun! Working with Juan made the day a very stress free day. The food was great, the tables and chairs were set up the way we asked them to. The bartenders did a great job keeping everyone happy. All my guests were talking about the great vibe in the venue, the food and drinks were all delicious. Everyone left with a full and happy belly. I definitely would recommend them for any event where you want to have a tropical vibe and the space is great for gatherings, like we had about 110 guests and had plenty of space.“
