All around Great experience. Love to see more places like this in downtown Bakersfield.
I’ve only started coming here 2 weeks ago and have already eaten here 4 times. I’ve only had the burritos but I’ll assume tacos are even better. The burrito has the right amount of meat, rice and beans. Tortilla is very buttery, toasted and beans are creamy. The meat is cooked on the charcoal grill which gives it a great flavor. A hidden gem in Bakersfield. Not a place you’ll hang for hours but a cold beer and good meal why not! Clean and nice staff.
My sister brought me the horchata and it was my favorite I like how the churros were the perfect softness and crunch we mostly tried the sides so the elote was also really good we will be DoorDasing again

Based on the reviews, Tacos Mi Pa serves excellent, fresh food. The fish is tilapia and is grilled, not breaded and fried, and is described as perfectly grilled, firm but not crusted or dry. The tacos are doble tortilla and yuge with well balanced flavors. The rice is Mexican rice, and the refried beans are silky and delicious. The Asada Fries appetizer has potatoes sliced fresh with the skin still on. Other meals mentioned include a shrimp dish, a lunch set with chile relleno and enchilada, shredded beef and cheese enchiladas, and a shrimp cocktail. The complimentary chips and salsa are good, with a rich salsa. The cucumber aguas frescas and the jamaica agua fresca are very refreshing. The food is served hot and is reasonably priced. The two rich taco lunch special with rice and beans was $11.99, a surprise price. The service is great, with nice servers who are on the job without being pests. The food comes out quick. This place is a hidden gem.
