“This was our first time visiting Arvin and we decided to try El Chavalon. The entire experience was great. The staff was so kind and attentive. The food was delicious. I had the ceviche de Camaron Cocido and the Habia Sushi. The Horchata was yummy too. I will be back again!“
“So I just so happened to be out in Arvin working , didn't bring anything for lunch and I was craving Mexican mariscos. It's as if all the stars aligned and it was meant for me to have found this hidden gem, and I'm sure glad I did. My co-worker and I arrived around 10:00am and it was not busy at all, so we sat down wherever we wanted and were attended to right away.The place is not big inside at all but just right,makes it feel homey. Our server was friendly and we had a couple questions about the menu items which she answered without a problem. We started off with the free chips and salsa that she brought out upon greeting us which were delicious, everything sounded good on the menu but ultimately I went with the Campechana, my co-worker ordered the shrimp cocktail and three shrimp tacos.OMG the Campechana was perfect! The seafood inside was fresh and abundant the broth flavorful so good you didn't even have to add anything to it. They have this little bottle of salsa on the tables that's homemade that I highly recommend it's a bit spicy so beware! My co worker devoured his cocktail and tacos and said it was the best he'd had in a while. Overall good food , good service I will be definitely making the drive out to Arvin with my family soon to try some more of those delicious sounding menu items!“

“Food is always great here. My favorite are the aguachiles, always spicy and there are enough in your plate to even share the with the wife or kids. Quit paying others rent and come to the lonchera instead, you will not want to go back to any other seafood place.“
