“Took my family and we all loved it! My apologies for not being as quiet as your other customers (we were a large group). I don't believe anyone made rude faces or made us feel uncomfortable. There were several teens at the table and my family was visiting from out of town. We were just really happy the food and service was great. Thank you so much! “This is one of my favorite places to go in town~ They always have the friendliest staff and their food never disappoints! Their new yaki noodles and tazuna rolls are really great. I loved their tazuna roll because I got to build what I like in it, since I always have the hardest time choosing between what roll I want. Their tea is so refreshing to drink! I got the mango black tea and it was definitely the perfect thing to have in today's hot weather. Great place to go for a casual lunch or dinner :) <3“

“Trust me, we have repeated our visit to this restaurant (sometimes just we 2 and other times with a large group of friends) many times people and the staff have always been friendly. We’ve never had one bad experience and will continue to be loyal patrons. They are always quick behind the sushi bar (hats off to the sushi chefs) and our food comes out fast so that’s a plus. Today the fish was fresh and served up with a nice garnish of a beautiful orchid and the fish is very fresh we were very pleased with all of it. We went during happy hour where specific rolls are half off! Take my word for it on this: Order yourself the spicy garlic edamame as a starter! You won’t be disappointed in fact it’s fantastic. When our sushi came we were offered ginger and authentic wasabi too. Wow what a nice surprise. I honestly have never had authentic wasabi to know what I was missing. Treat yourself as soon as you can. I’ll upload my impressions that I captured. We revisited this sushi house and were happy to enjoy fresh sushi. Steve had the spicy pork bento. “Clean, fresh environment with plenty of TVs and comfortable seating options. Clever is the name of the game with this place. Edamame served on the house like bread/butter or chips/salsa, excellent attention to detail in the dishes and decor, and creative yet simple execution across the board. Generous portions, friendly staff, and an alt radio station to make me feel like I am where I am (Bakersfield). The list goes on and on. Make an effort to stop by here if you need to treat yourself ☺️

“It's not fancy. Sushi is 1 to 2 steps above Sams Club sushi. I recommend sitting at the counter where you can select the sushi you want from the conveyor belt. Everything is $3.95 on the conveyor belt. Other menu items can be ordered on the screen above each seat. The items have name cones the preceed the plates so you know what it is. Plates are covered, you push down on cover, lid pops up and you take the plates which the items sit on. Plates general consist of 2 slices of a roll, 4 for smaller. Nigiri can be found there as well. And edame and cucumber salad. From the touchscreen above, you can order all items on the conveyor belt and more. For example, I ordered tempura ($9 for very little), spicy tuna hand roll ($4) and takoyaki ($4). There are more hand rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and rolls. Ramen can be found as well ($10-$12). You special ordered items zip straight you and stop in front of you on the upper belt. To register the plate count, you only drop the saucer plates in a slot in front of you on the table. Don't put food or the small brown dishes in the slot. Drinks are brought out by a robot. For 16 plates + 1 green tea + 1 tempura plate + 10% tip, we paid a little over $90. I'd go back. I had almost zero human interaction and I liked it on this visit.“

“I went with my family of 11 yesterday and we had a great time we had the tempura roll and the mar y tierra roll the aguachiles and shrimp ceviche and every was pretty good like margaritas and micheladas were delicious too and my little liked the chicken tender and fries it is pricey so be prepared to pay the good stuff our waiter was amazing didn’t get his name but he talked Spanish and that’s always a plus“

“I live close to Umi so I go in a few times a week for the Umi Special. My family and I go in at least once a month and my kids LOVE sushi! When I take them, its definitely not a cheap dinner. we spend just under $200. I order the same thing every time for the special. This last time I went in the chef refused to make the change I always ask for. I'm just not a fan of spicy tuna so I ask to switch out the spicy tuna for spicy crab. this one particular chef just wouldn't do it. That's fine, but I feel like it should be equal across the board. It's not right as a loyal customer I have been ordering the same thing for SO LONG, and then one guy just didn't feel like doing it. A little disappointing but oh well. I came to Jin instead :)“

“We came in for lunch. Eloy was our chef and he was good and quite entertaining.
I had the steak and chicken, comes with a salad, fried rice and fried vegetables. I could only eat half of my meal. I ended up taking the rest to go.“

“Our first time here and the experience was amazing! Rocelyn gave us great customer service, she was patient as we looked at the menu and was very helpful when asked what the combos were. The restaurant is super clean and organized with plenty of space to sit and eat. The quesa-birria tacos de chivo(goat) were excellent! The meat was tender and well cooked in both the pizza and tacos. Definitely recommend this place for filling and flavorful food.“
