“Took the family out to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. My first time, but our kids eat there often. All the food was amazing, and my main dish of barbeque Korean Ribs was the best I've ever had. Sampled several of the sides and different types of sushi and everything was fresh and delicious. The service and hospitality of the staff made us feel like family. Will be going back soon and often.“

The food was amazing, the ingredients were fresh and atmosphere was lively and fun. “This is one of my favorite places to go in town~ They always have the friendliest staff and their food never disappoints! Their new yaki noodles and tazuna rolls are really great. I loved their tazuna roll because I got to build what I like in it, since I always have the hardest time choosing between what roll I want. Their tea is so refreshing to drink! I got the mango black tea and it was definitely the perfect thing to have in today's hot weather. Great place to go for a casual lunch or dinner :) <3“

“I went with my family of 11 yesterday and we had a great time we had the tempura roll and the mar y tierra roll the aguachiles and shrimp ceviche and every was pretty good like margaritas and micheladas were delicious too and my little liked the chicken tender and fries it is pricey so be prepared to pay the good stuff our waiter was amazing didn’t get his name but he talked Spanish and that’s always a plus“

“Had my birthday celebration yesterday with a large group and this is our families go to when celebrating birthdays! Love the koi pond in the front entrance! I ordered the scallop and chicken teppanyaki meal. The chef who cooked for us was very entertaining and promptly gave me a birthday wish. Staff was very attentive and constantly refreshing drinks throughout meal. The fried rice was cooked to perfection with a delicious sesame flavor. The scallops were seasoned perfectly and were buttery soft. The chicken was delicious with the sauce the chef prepared. Best Teppanyaki in town! Bakersfield classic staple!“

From dining in on a birthday and getting a little light show and music from the staff, to ordering takeout for a birthday and being gifted a complimentary set of cute chopsticks. “My daughter has celiac disease and Jin Sushi is one of the very few places that carefully prepares gluten-free items. She has never been "glutened" there (they are careful not to cross-contaminate). Further, they have gluten free soy sauce, which many places don't carry, and they don't charge extra for it. Also, their sushi is some of the best I've ever tasted. My grandchildren love their chicken dishes and their sashimi is always fresh and delicious as is their tempura. Our family goes there at least once a month and we've never been disappointed. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the staff has always been friendly, polite and eager to do whatever they can to enhance our visit. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because sushi is quite pricey. If not, we'd probably go every week! Next time we go I'll post some pics of the dishes - everything looks as good as it tastes! Kudos Jin Sushi!“

“Great spot for date night or a quick lunch. I’ve been to love sushi a few times, and have tried the bentos, ramen and the sashimi. This has quickly become one of my favorite spots. Super fast service! The owner is very personable, and you can tell they take great care when they make their food. The mexican roll and the spicy baked salmon rolls are my two favorite things to order at the moment. The servers are also all great, and have walked me through the menu when I couldn’t decide what to order. I would highly recommend this place!“

“I ordered the premium small sashimi, a spicy tuna handroll, 2 large Asahi beers and a bottle of sake ($15), which if you don't finish you can take home. It's like being able to take an unfinished bottle of wine home. The sashimi was very fresh. The premium include premium fish. One was a trout from Norway that resembled salmon. Very tasty. The spicy tuna roll had a nice portion of tuna. The service was top notch. My total bill was $72 without the tip.“

“Service was great and consistant. The staff is very friendly and the miso soup is on the house. Portions sizes are great. I recommend the spicy garlic edamame, the Hama Hama and the Summer Breeze Roll. The ginger dressing on their salad is the best I have had. We have been to many sushi restaurants all over and this is by far my favorite after tonight. The prices were great too. We spent only $80 for our family of 5. (Not Including tip.) We will definitely be going back and this will be our goto family dinner night location. Your restaurant should be very proud!“
