Shoyu Sushi Calloway is a must go to spot with quality, fresh food and amazing service. The place is very nice, with very polite staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious, and the presentation is good. The beef stir fry udon was the best meal in a long time, and the Garlic Edamame, dumplings, Cucumber Special (no rice), Hibachi New York Steak, Philadelphia roll, Jessica roll, Rock n' Roll roll, and seattles best roll are all go-tos. The prices are very reasonable. The staff is always wonderful, and one of the owners is such a nice woman who checks on guests every time. The space feels fresh, open, and professional. Often times they give out tempura fried veggies or fried bananas as a dessert as a thank you. However, some guests felt rushed when the bill was brought before dessert was offered. Despite this, the food is top quality, and many consider it their favorite sushi restaurant in town.
