“Friendly good service I love this place I go oftenParking: They sure parking with connected businesses Never fullKid-friendliness: Seating for children is great they also have high chairs availableWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access to the front door doors are wide enough for wheelchair“
“Very good food. Several vegetarian entrees. Entrees are made to order. Szechuan eggplant rocks and the garlic green beans are to die for. Braised tofu with onions and bell pepper has lots of flavor. Decent prices that don't break the bank. Two item plate $9.25 and big portions.“
“I really wish that I had gotten my servers name but she was very helpful. I asked so many questions and she was very nice and helpful. We probably annoyed her but she didn't show it at all. The food is always amazing and authentic. Can't wait until I can get back there because I want to try more dishes.“
“We like this place. The food is great. Any of the staff who interacted with us were very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is kinda cozy. You'll get your money's worth with any plate ordered for sure because the servings are very generous. This place has been here for so long and still doing great.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian plates“
“Soy and spice has the best drunken noddles I've tasted ! This is definitely my go to dish , however other dishes I've had are also delicious. Prices are very generous and they give you a good amount of food ! A bang for your buck. Their Thai tea is also delicious. The place is small and cozy. Feels super authentic when you walk in. You're greeted and seated , workers are Asian and extremely polite . I visit often with co workers during lunch. Would recommend! Thank you soy and spice for everything :).“
“really good it's not the best pho I've ever had but it was good but I have to say the pot stickers were the best potstickers I've ever had and all of the other items looked really really good so I'll definitely have to go back and try more stuff“
“We have been going to this spot for about 20 years, even before they had Louisiana Fried Chicken. The portions are massive and cooked with so much flavor. They are a mom and pop place, but they run an amazing restaurant. Lie and her husband are great people and so generous!“
“Excellent tasting Chinese food! The taste was fantastic! And the amount of noodles was great. We also tried the orange chicken in sechuan sauce and it was super good. Wish they had more side dishes though, like wood ear soup or a tomato and egg dish.“
“I've never been big on Chinese Food , but omg, I found out that I've been missing out big time because the Teriyaki Chicken I had was amazing and the portions were very nice sized..I was very satisfied and I'll definitely be coming “
“Had an amazing experience last night at P.F Changs Bakersfield, our server was friendly and anticipated all of our needs without us even noticing! The food was so good and we got a lot more than what we were paying for, they give generous portions of fried rice and noodles. I also recommend the Dynamite Roll it was the best roll we have had in a long time. Will be visiting again very soon!“
“I went to Kento's and enjoyed the food and how it is prepared when you order instead of sitting under a heat lamp. The owner was cool and the portions are good size for teens or young people. The orange chicken was good and tasted nice. It's four stars for quickie Chinese and fair flavor.“
“The food is really good for the price! Very quaint with a calm atmosphere. One thing that really tops everything is the fact that the portions they give you are very generous! I recommend trying them out. The owners are nice and personable!“
“Defiantly a family run restaurant and there’s not that many around. Excellent experience with using them to cater a meal. We had a small lunch for the Thanksgiving holiday as we had evening plans. Great price. Great service. Everything was cooked to perfection.“
“I think I've been here twice? The food is mediocre, but inexpensive. We arrived really close to their closing time and felt really bad, but other people walked in behind us and the employees were very friendly. I always feel paranoid when I go to a food place at the end of the night so I'm always appreciative when they are nice. Like I said, the food is mediocre. Idk if it's because we're used to another place or if it's genuinely not great. 7/10 will return!“
“I'm giving it a five star even though it doesn't really deserve a five star. The food definitely deserves a five star, especially considering the prices. The service is great. The indoor area is always cluttered near the back with tables covered in boxes, but I always get my food to go and it's so good for the price that I don't really care about a bunch of boxes laying around on some unused tables. I definitely recommend the egg flower soup and the barbecue pork, but pretty much everything is really good for the price.“
“Run, DO NOT WALK to the delicious Chinese food spot!!! This place is a hidden gem in East Bakersfield with massive portions, low prices, and amazing flavors! I cannot stress this place enough on how amazing it is. Panda express can't even compare. Went on a Sunday night at 6 and it was a little busy as to be expected for dinner time, everything was so fresh and so flavorful. The portions were MASSIVE, they don't cheap out on their food. While the interior was a little sticky like previous reviewers have mentioned that didn't ruin the experience. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.“
“Order about $100 of different items and had them delivered. A man and his small son came with the food in no time. The food was really good. This was our first experience with this (what I can only assume to be) family restaurant and will absolutely be ordering from them again in the future.“
“They changed up their recipe for the orange chicken and egg roll sauce, it's very good though! It has an addicting spicy sweet taste Im not sure if the ownership is currently going through some changes at the time of this review, I feel their recipes have a minor touch of Hispanic fused into it, which for me is very tasteful and different!“
“This is a Family owned fast food Chinese restaurant that has been in operation for over 15 years. A husband & wife team, sorry I didn't get their names. They are a beloved neighborhood institution with a very loyal client base. Many of the locals have been coming for years, high school students love the owner who serves up the food and call her "Mama" even long after they have grown up. The food prepared throughout the day and is always fresh and appealing to the eyes. The dishes are tasty and portions are generous. The prices are very reasonable. I haven't tried their fried chicken yet, but I see a lot of orders for it. The interior is simple. They do have a couple of tables, but this really isn't an eat in type of restaurant, the majority of their business is takeout. You can just walk in or call your order in. If it's a busy time of day, I recommend calling in. If you haven't been I recommend you try Chopstix and Louisiana Fried Chicken.“
“I come here specifically for the same thing every time, I hope the owners are reading this and don't make any changes because I literally only come here for the barbecue pork and no one else makes it the same way in town so please don't change it.“
“it's no longer called Sakura buffet its called jades buffet i believe . anyways when i went this place was charging around $22.50 per adult children under 2 eat free. i didn't take any children over the 2 year mark or any seniors so i have no idea if children are half the price of what an adult would be or if they even have senior discounts. the classic coi fish are at the entrance to greet you just make sure you don't touch them or feed them. you no longer get guided to a table or get your drink brought to you by a waiter like before now you do all that yourself.they're still waiters going around to take the dirty dishes of your table but that's about it i don't see the need to tip anymore but it's still and option if you so please. they have a lot of verity of food and its good by far the best(or at least the few times I've been there) shrimp ive had of any buffet they were really good and were not mushy from a spending so much time in the freezer they were what you expect from a salt and pepper shrimp just make sure you hurry and get them as they leave as fast as they came from the tray. my favorite things are the saute mushrooms in a sauce, the pepper chicken/jalapeño chicken, the sea food boil, the chicken on a stick, chow main, and some of the sushis just to name a few things. great spot but definitely food is subjective when it comes to flavor so you be the judge for yourself“
“This was our first time eating here. The elderly lady running the front of the house moved slowly, but the service was wonderful. She made sure to keep our drinks filled. The food was delicious (beef broccoli, beef fried rice, barbecue pork chow mein, and the three delights sautéed entree). The only con I have is the egg rolls were a tiny bit too oily for me, but the hubs disagreed. We will go back“
“The food is delicious for me, the price is reasonable, and the people are very kind. Although I wasn't going to go at first because of the "permanently closed" situation in the maps, but it wasn't closed at all. I recently bought my food and the store is still there and still open.“
“They were about to close but they still helped us. They were lacking beef so that's why the 4 stars. The food was awesome. The Girl was AWESOME on service but again they were about to close and we were told that they would be closing soon. The place felt a bit "muggy." Granted it was a Hot day and they were about to close but, could have kept the ac going at least till closing time. Over all is a GREAT PLACE to get some TAKE OUT!!!“
“Amazing food, I have now been here twice in about a week and both times I have enjoyed them. Their carry out is great as well as in service dining. Favorite thing so far is there won tong soup/slizzing rice soup! Best Chinese restaurant I will stand by that completely!“
