“So, there are new owners for this place, but they took the time to learn from the previous owners to prepare the same dishes we all know and love. My biggest concern was how they make the honey walnut shrimp. To my delight! It is unchanged. Hefty shrimp, lots of walnuts wonderful sauce, completely different from most other restaurants. “I’m here in Bakersfield, for school, from Las Vegas. This place has become my favorite!! I’m only here for 9 weeks but I get food from this place every week! We have some good Chinese food spots in Vegas, but this one is great, in my opinion! Very flavorful and I love the noodles! The jalapeno chicken is great too! I’m really going to miss this place when I go back to Vegas.“

“My husband and I found the bamboo cafe. The very first day it opened. And have been eating there ever since.
Their food is wonderful.The quantities they give you is great! The taste of the food is always the same. So if you love something, you know, you're going to be enjoying it every time you get it.
While the kids were growing up, I would stop in and pick up meals.For everybody and then head back up the canyon. I always had enough food to feed them for 2 days.
We moved, a couple years ago. Each time we fly back to Bakersfield, the first place we go when we leave the airport is to the bamboo cafe.“

“Came here not knowing anything of this location. I'd see it when we'd pass by. I was pleasantly surprised by it. I don't know if it was the owner or an employee but the lady that helped us was just so nice. I got the chow mein, orange chicken and jalapeño chicken. I wasn't disappointed with any of it. They also had a chili sauce that was sooo good. We'll be going back for sure“

“I just moved in, looks very organized and management is on it, I am happy with it so far. I was going to put four ? s because of no kitchen in the unit but I used the community kitchen and it's not that bad. I have a roof, bed,fridge, ac, safer than the streets. Yes there are people trying to get to take over units but their pics are in the community room and from what I see we are taking care of each other. The location is far out there but there's public transportation and everyone can use their insurance for medical rides. Oh and the case manager here is really good too, they're helping me take care of other things in my life as well. And Maintenance is on top of things too here, I put a request in to fix my smoke detector that beeped ad she came within hours! They don't have way out rules , easy to follow. Clean ...beautiful scenery. Good job green gardens. They're are lots of people with dogs here and it's pretty pet friendly I'm proud to say I never have stepped in dog doodoo, never even seen it, people here are doing a great job cleaning up. Five stars for sure. Idk no one has posted pics before of this place so here are mine of my place“

“The staff tonight on 05/23/26 in Saturday night was AMAZING! I understand the stress of fast food and I totally get it! I just have to say though to service was AMAZING!!! “Small place to eat in, I suggest to get it to go. The chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside, great testing just a little on the salty side so I asked the cook to make the chicken with the lest salt. Chinese food is good also and the catfish.“

“Our first time here and the experience was amazing! Rocelyn gave us great customer service, she was patient as we looked at the menu and was very helpful when asked what the combos were. The restaurant is super clean and organized with plenty of space to sit and eat. The quesa-birria tacos de chivo(goat) were excellent! The meat was tender and well cooked in both the pizza and tacos. Definitely recommend this place for filling and flavorful food.“
