I've tried the egg foo young at all the places that make it here in Bakersfield. I have finally found the best egg foo young hands down at China Garden. I'm old school and this place is traditional. Everything made to order.My search is over. I only wish I had come here sooner.
Came for dinner for the first time eating here in several years. I used to eat here a lot with the family while growing up. Of course it used to be better but not by much. I felt it still had the same flavors. Some ingredients changed minimally but China Garden still better than a lot of restaurants in Bakersfield. Food was good, service was great. I will be back soon.

This was our first time eating here. The elderly lady running the front of the house moved slowly, but the service was wonderful. She made sure to keep our drinks filled. The food was delicious (beef broccoli, beef fried rice, barbecue pork chow mein, and the three delights sautéed entree). The only con I have is the egg rolls were a tiny bit too oily for me, but the hubs disagreed. We will go back
