“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kow Loon Chinese Restaurant in Visalia, CA, and it was an absolutely delightful experience that exceeded all my expectations. I can confidently say that this gem of a restaurant deserves a solid five-star rating for several reasons. First and foremost, the generosity of their portion sizes left me pleasantly surprised. The Wor Wonton Soup was an absolute standout, and I must say it's the best I've ever had. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the wontons were perfectly crafted. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was a close second, and the portion was so ample that I found myself savoring the dish long after leaving the restaurant. What truly sets Kow Loon apart, however, is the warmth and friendliness of the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine smiles and a willingness to assist. The staff went above and beyond to make my dining experience enjoyable, offering recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of my meal was to my liking. Their exceptional customer service added an extra layer of satisfaction to an already fantastic meal. The freshness and impeccable preparation of the food further highlight the culinary prowess of Kow Loon. The Sesame Chicken was delightful, with a perfect balance of flavors, and the Kow Loon Chow Mein and Fried Rice were nothing short of exceptional - each bite a testament to the chef's dedication to quality. As someone who has been on the lookout for a go-to Chinese restaurant in Visalia, I'm thrilled to have finally found one that ticks all the boxes. Kow Loon has undoubtedly won me over with their delicious offerings, generous portions, and outstanding service. If you're in the area and craving authentic Chinese cuisine, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to Kow Loon - you won't be disappointed!“
“All and all food was great! Service was great. Staff was friendly and quick. Prices are great tooKid-friendliness: Had high chairs for kidsDietary restrictions: One of my cousins has to have food gluten free and she was accommodated so that was nice“
“Went here on impulse! Photos below are of what my family and i ordered. Kung pao chicken lunch, shrimp and seasonal veggies lunch and a pad thai. Not quite what i expected for the pad thai but still nice. We ended up all sharing family style. But be warned peanuts in the king pao, not something i usually order myself but i did enjoy it until i reached the peanut bite! Overall would come here again. Happy family and between the errands we were running i would stop here again!“
“Best tofu dishes in town! Is there MSG? Probably, sometimes i ask for NO MSG. So be careful if you have allergies. My cousin recommended this place for lunches and family dinners. The owner is great when she sees our family she knows we get our usual stuff, so nice of her! TsingTao for those who wonder.“
“First time dining here. The Wor WonTon was just okay for us. The broth flavor was dominated by soy sauce but the vegetables and wontons along with the chicken and pork chashu was good. The Seared Pot Stickers with dipping sauce, Hong Kong Style Chow Mein and the Salt and Pepper Fish was really good and tasty. Hot tea helped settle the food. Happy stomachs!!! Lots of left overs for take home. Can’t wait to try the other food options. ?“
“Wor won ton soup was very good. It was full of wonton and meat. I made a special request of no broccoli and extra bok choy and they made it perfect. The only thing I was say the soda seemed to be pretty expensive for such a small cup Togo.“
“Surprisingly large portions! Food is piled high on the plate, edge to edge! My in restaurant order was a Lunch Special Combination plate @ approximately ONLY $12.00. Barely able to eat 1/2 of the meal! Waitress provided us with take home containers without even being asked. I would assume this is due to oversize portions routinely served. Only negative would be when I ordered a takeout meal & then I plated some of the Pork Fried rice for dinner, I was disappointed that I couldn't find any pork meat in it?“
“Food was delicious. We come from the bay and are always looking for great chinese to go food in the area. The food was so good. However i wasnt a fan of the eggrolls. They were not bad but they only have meat and noodles(i like veggies included). My husband loved them. The customer service was AMAZING! They are so nice!!! Will be coming back. My favorite was the sweet and sour chicken. So crispy and light on the batter!! I was shocked how good it crunched . We even warmed up the left overs and the chicken was still crispy!! Cant wait to go back and try other dishes.“
