“Went here on a Saturday morning. Place was busy and parking not too hard to find.Nestled in a mostly-rundown area of DTF is this hole-in-the-wall establishment that serves American (and a few Mexican) plates, Chinese and Japanese plates and soup. A very unusual combination, but it works well here because the place was consistently busy while we ate.Someone comes by and quickly asks what you need and promptly brings you the food. I had their huevos con chorizo plate with pancakes on the side. You can immediately taste the oil from the griddle they've had for the last 15 years. The grease is so prominent and delicious AF! Looking at the cooks, they are very efficient because they have a tray with plates ready to be served.Overall, such a unique place. The prices are very low for the deliciousness you get. Cash only! All walks of life come here and I highly recommend you come as well!“
“This diner is so fire that I had to make a poem that really showed my true feelings, *ahem*:Walk up in the diner, feeling kinda fly,Chinese-American flair, gonna give it a try.Breakfast game strong, like a morning mission,Eggs so good, they should come with an admission. In this little spot, where the flavors groove,Like Ludacris on a track, can't help but move. From the waffles to the hashbrown sizzle,Every dish here's got that flavor fizzle.“
“Are at this place while we was in town and the food was really good. The Tom Yum seafood soup was delicious and packed with seafood. Some other places I've tried the same dish and most of them don't give you a lot of seafood. Would highly recommend.“
“Sadly I didn't take a picture of my food but it was absolutely delicious and it was a bunch of food for a very great price of only 13$!! It can feed two people been coming here for years even before the remodel it looks good and the service was good the lady was very nice“
“Got takeout from this place on the way to Yosemite - the 5-star reviews don’t lie! They have a genuinely hot wok in the back, so the food is extra tasty - & the family meal is an incredible deal at $40. Just two folks working here - true mom & pop operation w/ great food.“
“I just tried 2 items veg fried momos & veg chowmein and believe those were very delicious I found for first time that indian street food taste in USA after long time,9 years, Highly recommended, these guys really have very good taste of “
“We hadn’t been to PF Changs in quite some time however tonight’s experience was AMAZING! We took our two granddaughters and our server Samuel (young blond guy) was absolutely the best server we’ve ever had anywhere! His attentiveness and personality were absolutely outstanding! We asked for literally nothing he was on top of every detail and every request we had. I was gluten free and he covered all of that beyond expectation. It was not only incredible food but exemplary service! Our granddaughters even loved their food! We ordered 4 meals, an appetizer and desserts and the pricing was not bad at all especially when we took home a second set of meals in left overs! We will definitely be back in the future and I truly hope we get the same amazing server! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Dietary restrictions: I was over the moon to see the amount of gluten free options they had to offer! Even an amazing gluten free dessert! I rarely get a dessert at restaurants as most don’t include a gluten free option. But there was quite a few to choose from!Kid-friendliness: We were pleasantly surprised that while both our grandchildren were skeptical when their plates came out they took one bite and loved it. The kids meals are a great balance with the meal, fruit bowl and dessert all included.“

“I think I found my "go to" Chinese restaurant across the street from my go to Mexican restaurant. Lynn, the hostess, waitress and server was helpful with explaining some of the dishes to us. She remembered my other family members coming in a few months ago, this was my first venture here, but definitely will not be the last. The hot tea was her special blend and was quite good. Egg flower soup was tasty along with the meal we ordered. We had the meal for 4 people costing $12.95 per person. As you can see from the picture it wasn't that good! lol.“
“Great lunch! Had soup dumplings and chicken egg rolls as apps. Cashew chicken, Koryo beef, and BBQ pork spareribs as mains. All delicious! We will definitely be back! Meyes was a wonderful server as well! The interior is a little odd, but we didn't have to wait on a Saturday afternoon about 1pm, which was a huge plus especially since we were with my momShe very much enjoyed her meal too! Thanks for a great visit!“
“Malis Restaurant (formerly Khmer Family Cafe) specializes in three items. 1. Roast Duck 2. Roast Pork 3. Stir Fry Intestines I've been here twice for the roast pork and I agree that the roast pork is the best in town! It's juicy, tender, and extremely flavorful. The skin is sooo crispy. Even the accompanying sauce is excellent paired together. The price for roast pork is by the pound. They'll offer to cut or chop it as well. Payment in cash or card is accepted. As a takeout only spot, don't expect much in terms of service or ambiance. The focal point really is the food. The roast pork is superb. I'll be back to try the roast duck.“
“Been eating here all my life. Its changed hands but the recipes stayed the same. This place has the best food. The war wonton is the soup I get when I dont feel good. Thier special chomping is excellent. Ive eaten everything on the menu at one time or another its all great.“
“I used to come here ALL THE TIME and I've moved out of the area and have still never found anything that compares. The vegetarian Peking chicken is amazing with the pan fried noodles. Sweet family owned business. We actually had our junior prom dinner here with a decent sized group. I will always love this place.“
“My go to place picking up food for my mom that lives in West Fresno. The staff are friendly and get your order to your liking. I especially like their sizzling rice soup with lots of vegetables and chicken plus shrimp. Mom says this is the best food here. Her dish is the chop suey chowmein with lots of vegetables. The prices and portions are very reasonable and you get your money's worth.“
“We love coming to kar wah. Everything I've tried so far I've liked. The service is hit or miss as far as the wait time but other than that the people are very nice. We love the Kung pao chicken, orange chicken and the spicy Szechwan beef!“
“3/01/24 Getting lunch! 2 chicken teriyaki bowls ordered. The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I went in to get it shortly later. Restaurant is small. Definitely set for pick up and go. Greeted by nice worker & order was ready! Paid for it with well wishes! Lunchtime! My chicken teriyaki bowl was LARGE! Really DELICIOUS & flavorful! Fresh veggies come with it too! Great! Mother felt the same! Good service & chicken GREAT teriyaki bowls! Highly recommended!“
“First time customer. Excellent experience! Food was outstanding. I had the almond chicken with pan fried noodles. Of all of the places I’ve eaten Chinese food, I’ve never tasted chicken as juicy and tender as I had at the Golden Dynasty. ??“
“Was brought here on a whim by a co-worker. I didn't even realize it was there. Food was fantastic. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find decent Chinese food. Food was fresh and hot from the wok, as it should be. Ordered the orange chicken, co-worker got kung pao. Portions were large, flavorful. Will be back for sure!“
“This is now one of my go-to Chinese take out. Located in the Southwest corner of First and Bullard, this place is fast and consistent. Try their beef rolls; they are my favorite. It has a curry flavor. I ordered for a party of 8 and didn't disappoint. BIG portion. I could've cut back two orders.“
“This was my first time eating here, and I have been wanting to try it. Our family came to visit and so we decided to give it a try the waitress was amazing she helped us decide what would be the best choice for a large group of people. It turned out to be perfect, plenty for everyone!! And our favorite dish was the lemon chicken really delicious!! So I do recommend Bamboo Chopsticks!!Parking: Lots of room to park.“
“It's hard to find a good Chinese restaurant anymore. But we think we found a really good place. The service was great, the wait reasonable and the menu offers a really nice variety. Our order took only 20 minutes even though the place was packed. We easily could've shared an order with the large amount of food we got. Let's not forget that the food was delicious.? We will definitely be going back for more.“
“Been going here for almost 30 years, and they ALWAYS come through with consistency. Food quality and quantity is always the best bang for your buck. The OG is always in the kitchen working hard anytime I've ever been there. The man has a work ethic that is unmatched and the food is the best I've had anywhere, CONSISTENTLY! The bad reviewers are clearly hater personalities, or the type to only review when their entitlement isn't satiated.“
“I always have a great experience here . Great food, Service is excellent, it's just the homeless makes it a little frustrating so I had to learn how to play the situation accordingly ??♂️? if you know what I mean lmao ?. But I love triple A burger an highly recommend it!!!!“
“Let me tell you about THE BEST CHINESE FOOD IN FRESNO ..!! My Son showed me and boy, he wasn't lying: Jim and his wife made me cut up pork chops with noodles and rice on the side, with this sumptuously delicious bean sauce I've never tasted before... Dude...!! Go to Jim's!!“
“Sunrise Kitchen is a culinary gem that I recently discovered, and I must say, it's a hidden treasure in the world of Chinese-American cuisine. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. The menu at Sunrise Kitchen boasts a tantalizing array of Chinese-American dishes, each prepared with care and attention to detail. The flavors were exquisite, delivering a perfect balance of savory and sweet. And let's not forget about the portions – they were incredibly generous, ensuring that no appetite goes unsatisfied. What truly impressed me was the efficiency of the staff in handling orders. Despite the bustling atmosphere, they assisted me promptly and completed my order in a timely manner, which speaks volumes about their commitment to excellent service. In summary, if you're in the mood for delicious Chinese-American cuisine with generous portions and top-notch service, look no further than Sunrise Kitchen. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be returning to sample more of their culinary delights. Highly recommended!Parking: Park next to it! :)“
“My husband and I get the meal for two. Comes with chow mein, noodles, shrimp tempura, orange chicken and it can literally feed 4! It's perfect for our small family and it hits the spot every time. Friendly service, neat and clean restaurant. Highly recommend calling order in prior to pick up as this place gets pretty busy!“
“Went in on a Saturday night it wasn't busy. The lady who took my order was nice and the food came out pretty quick. Luckily I live really close so the food was still hot. The food was actually pretty good for a fair price. I would definitely go back.“
“Came from out of town and decided to give this spot a chance. I ordered a hot spicy combo today and boy was I taken away. The food portions are amazing. The food was delicious and overall I think I'll come to Fresno just to eat here again!“
“Was my first time going there. Servings are huge staff are friendly. My only complaint was the food could have used a bit more flavor. I ordered one of the curried dishes and could safely taste any curry. Other than that everything was good and I will go back.“
“Came here for a spur-of-the-moment Sunday dinner and everyone enjoyed it. It is a small little restaurant but it offers great family style dinning. The staff are friendly and we were seated very quickly. The family style dining easily fed our little family of three with some leftovers. Definitely recommend this charming little spot. Also we all loved the little Chinese Zodiac Sign placemats!“
“The name of the restaurant has changed. It's now Taste China Kitchen. The menu while simple the food is great and the price is just right in today's economy it's a bargain. I even took pictures. I got the chow mein, rice and sides of orange chicken and beef and broccoli. All was perfect.“
“Mark's Kitchen is a culinary treasure nestled in the heart of Fresno, CA. offering a delightful fusion of flavors and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Known for its creative twists on classic dishes and commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, every meal at Mark's Kitchen is a culinary adventure.“
“First time being here heard good things about it. The food was really good, I think much better than Imperial Gardens noodles were good. The dim sums hands down really delicious the only thing I say about a lot of these Chinese restaurants they should stop putting celery in the dishes that’s not supposed to have it. It’s just a filler no need for it if it wasn’t for that would’ve been a 5 star for sure. Service was pretty good amount of food is great for the cost.“
“? “I just got food here... I'm writing this as I'm eating it... I'm mad.... I'm mad that I didn't know about this place sooner. I gave up on trying to find good Chinese food in Fresno and then this gem was introduced to me by my girlfriend's bestie.... This food is legit... Best in town, I'll put money on it. Everything you order is good. I hope they never change anything and they have great success. Yes.... Eat here... Do it.“
“I’ve been coming here, since before I was born! My parents came here, in their 20’s & I too carry this on. Still eating here in my 30’s & my son will continue this on!!Best Chinese food in fresno, hands down! Authentic & AMAZING!!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps near restaurant & no stairs.“
“Hola y buenas tardes. I am not Chinese, but I am a Chicano, which is close enough for me to proclaim a gentleman for all ethnicities. Chopsticks serves the greatest recipes this side of the Yangtze River. The eats are worthy of a factory that produces the platinum standard of 69 Michelin Stars. There are no demos going on here, with overrated Emerson (sic) Lagasse peddling pots and pans that could not withstand an acne-pocked tween creating a masterpiece from a packet of Takis/Skittles/Essentia water of the Maruchan experience. The service, as the millennial foolios have always practiced..."Dis iz an absolute game-changa, bruhs!" First of all, their is no game. Secondly, it has not been sanctioned by the UFC. Next, there is nothing to change, except Millennium Morgan needing for her Luvs needing to be relieved of a diaper brimming with the caca of their own mouths. And lastly, that saying is as old as the roach in Uncle Stevie's 1994 Dodge Neon ashtray. And finally, the decor of Chopsticks is much more creatively original than Panda Express's Asian motif of endangered bears and orange chicken that seems it was pooped out of Gorton's famous species of dinosaur-shaped fish sticks. Holla, scholla! All hail, Chopsticks, with a swift kick to the jewels of P.F. Thongs!“
“This is my first time to go to order the food, the food is amazing, the restaurant has changed a new owner, the new owner is super nice and friendly, and the place is very clean! Definitely recommend the restaurant! Also the Dimsun is great!“
“Nice place with fair prices and a good assortment of dishes to try. Dan Dan Noodles is my favorite, a mountain of noodles, chicken, sprouts and green onions in a szechuan peppercorn oil. The Beef noodle soup is simple, straightforward and crazy good. The menu could use a bit of editing and more pictures. The dining area is always clean. Nice waitresses. The music/radio they play isn't great, but not loud at all.“
“I live a block away & only ate there once about 10 years ago. Craved Chinese food, so I ordered salt & pepper wings and the tomatoe beef chowmein in curry sauce. Chicken well flavored, super crispy & juicy. Curry sauce was delicate, smoky, which paired well with the buttery soft beef. I will be ordering there every chance I get! I ordered ahead to avoid the wait, but there was Only 1 couple seated around 5 p.m. so plenty of seating if need be. Staff was polite and welcoming. Street parking was available at the time too.“
“The new owners continue the freshness and quality Jimy Wen’s loyal customers have come to love throughout the years. My family have been customers of Jimy Wen’s since the very first day it opened in Fresno 16 years ago. Even with the new owners and slight changes to the menu, it is still the best around!! We look forward to another 16+ years and amazing food.“
“Delicious food for a great price with amazing vegetarian options. The owner and employees are super kind. This is our go-to place for date night.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options and even have imitation chicken that's delicious.“
“The place is so much bigger than I thought, they have several group tables, there was so much food, traditional and American, and everything tasted really good. My 4 stars for service is for the lack of drink refills. The staff walk around and refill drinks. We had to stop someone and ask after a good 30-40 minutes... I'd give 4.5 if I could. After tasting the food, its definitely worth the price!!“
“2/25/24 Getting lunch and they do to-go orders! Great! Really Great experience! Greeted upon entering and told the worker I wanted to do a to-go order! She was very nice & handed me a box and showed me where to go. Oh my goodness! They have so much Great foods to pick from and a really Great variety of foods! I got a bunch of different delicious looking items. Everything in 2, to share. Even got sugar biscuits. Then went to checkout and the worker weighed it. I paid for it And it was Really inexpensive! Especially with all that I got! Wished well & left! Also, they were constantly trading in the food so you know everything is fresh! Lunchtime! My half was REALLY FRESH & DELICIOUS! Getting to try a little bit of everything and it was all Great is awesome! Mother said her half was Great & that it had a lot of flavor! Plus, sugar biscuit for dinner! Great service, Great price & Great, Delicious lunch! Highly recommended!“
“Yummy, affordable Asian food in a no frills atmosphere with cool murals. Service is great, the staff is happy to recommend dishes. We tried the veggie fried rice, tofu chow fun, shrimp chow mein, and kung pao tofu, which was spicy but delicious, all were good. This is a great place to go for takeout or if you just want comfort food in a chill environment.“
“I’ve come to this location several times before and recently been coming whenever I forget my lunch as I work nearby. I always come around noon when it’s busy and the service is very fast and not only that but I have not had a bad experience to this date. The food always tastes great on different days and the staff is always very polite and professional. I’d recommend anyone visit this specific Panda location if you’re in the area looking for food.“
“I've essentially become a regular at this restaurant. I think their food is great and I always order the beef chow funn (my favorite). The woman behind the counter is always so friendly. The food comes out pretty quick and it's always hot. I think the prices are pretty reasonable, I think most of their items are between $10-$20. I've never sat down to eat inside but I love seeing all the different birds on their TV all the time.“
