“The food is excellent the pesto SoCal all of it is good you need to come down here to Modesto Turlock, Stanislas, County, San, Joaquin County build them and they will come. The food is excellent, but we need it closer to home. The nearest one is Visalia. I actually ate there today. It was great.“

“Great spot for Mediterranean. I got the special Califalafel which was $11 for a hearty pita sandwich. My partner got the Gyro. We also got an appetizer of Baba ganoush with pita chips and that was the star. Very delicious. The chips were a little more crispy than I usually like but they had other options like veggies you could get to dip as well. Large craft beer selection on tap. I was a little bummed that the Pliney the Elder was out though. Nice staff. Good experience. It was warm and we sat outside, they had shade sails and sisters, but we probably should have sat inside as the sun moved across our table while we were there mid day.“

“Went here on a Friday morning through the drive-thru. It was a little busy.

Prior to going to the window they have a big menu outside for savory and sweet plates to purchase. There's no speaker to place your order. I ordered an Egg Scramble bowl. A savory breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs, cheese, applewood smoked bacon, jalapeño cheese, pico de gallo, red potatoes on a flour tortilla. Most ingredients come from the Farmer's Market. $14-$15, if memory serves me correct. You order at the window and wait while it's made-to-order. The bowl was very good and fulfilling.

Overall, a place worth visiting. The ordering syste. might need an improvement for faster movement of the drive-thru lane. I waited a while, so if you're in a rush this may not be the best option. Maybe consider having someone outside taking orders, so the food could be closer to ready by the time you arrive to the window.“

The Panda Express in Visalia does exactly what it’s supposed to do — quick, reliable American-Chinese takeout.

The flavors are familiar, nothing overly special or local, but you know what you’re getting and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. I went with the teriyaki chicken and super greens, and it absolutely scratched that “I-need-a-protein-hit-now” itch.

Only minor gripe is the wait time for fresh/hot items — can be a little slow depending on when you walk in. But honestly, that’s just how Panda works, not a knock on this location in particular.

If you’re not chasing authenticity and just want a dependable fast meal, this place gets the job done.
