“I came here for the first time after a frustrating morning where my dentist made me wait for an hour and then couldn't even see me, so I was absolutely starving!!!

I ordered the supreme/super burrito ? and a medium horchata, and my food came out incredibly fast! Literally two minutes after I sat down. The horchata was a perfect 5/5, super authentic and delicious. While the burrito looked a bit bigger in the menu pictures, it was so incredibly flavorful and delicious that I didn't even regret the $12 price tag at that point.

The interior of the restaurant is pretty plain and simple, but they have a fantastic salsa bar with really good salsas/sauces. Just a heads up for next time, the menu didn't have prices listed on it, so you have to be a bit wary when ordering. My total came out to around $17 for the two items (crazy) and I think a credit card fee might have inflated it, so I’d recommend bringing cash. Make sure to time your visit right too, because about five minutes after I arrived, the door got packed with the lunch rush.

Overall, the food and speed more than make up for the simple inside, and I will absolutely be back to try other food items. Would just love pricing on the menu because everyone’s trying to budget in today’s presidency (duh).“

“There’s plenty of chain and franchised deli’s in Visalia to choose from but there is only a few mom and pops. This location is one of them that is independently owned and operated, you’ll see the owner taking and making orders. There’s good things happening and worth checking out :)“

“We had a wonderful dinner tonight. I had the chicken shawarma plate, with hummus, salad, fries and brown rice. My husband had the Greek salad and gyro plate with 2 beers. Great ambiance, service and food. Would definitely return! We are traveling through town on our way to the Bay Area and were pleasantly surprised by how adorable the downtown area is, especially with the lights on the trees. Our waitress was wonderful and the outdoor seating with lighting was a perfect ending to a long drive day.“

“Grannys is a great place to eat. The food is good and the portions are a nice size. Unfortunately because of Bidenomics they have had to make some changes to price and portion sizes. It’s not their fault it’s just the way it is at the moment. As far as service goes, it all depends on who’s working. If Kristin (owner)is there you are going to get great service. She wants you to return. She gets it. Unfortunately if Renee (owner)is there service can vary depending on who’s in the restaurant. She seems to be very chatty; and that’s the problem. She forgets shes working and service suffers. We will drive up, look in the window to see who’s working. It’s gotten that bad.“

“I’ve been coming to this A&W since I was a kid, and now I get to bring my own kids here. I hadn’t been back to Visalia in about 15 years, and wow, both the town and this restaurant have really grown and improved. The food was great, the service was friendly, and everything was clean and well maintained. It was also nice to see they still have the classic cars out on Saturday night. Seeing that tradition continue brought back a lot of good memories. Glad to see this place is still going strong after all these years. Highly recommend!“

“Me and my family ate dinner here coming from kings canyon and it was delicious. We were tired so we ordered it for pick up. When we got back to our room the food was still piping hot and filled to the brim with food. Everything was delicious. My mom is Korean and we don’t have many Korean restaurants where we’re from, so we try to grab it anytime we see one. Everyone loves their food and ate leftovers for breakfast. “This is the best sandwich shop in Visalia! The owners are absolutely amazing as well as Cody! This is my go to catering place. I get 2-3 catering orders a month and I have never had an issue. Everywhere I have taken the food all I receive is complaints! 10/10“

“Went here on a Saturday morning. Place wasn't too packed, but got busier by the time we left. Parking is street only, so it can be a tad difficult to find a spot. This is actually a carniceria, mini-grocery store and restaurant. This is for the restaurant.You order your food at the cash register and seat yourself. We were a party of 4. This is a buy-now, pay-later place. Nice old school way. I tried their birria de chivo with a taco al pastor on the side. The bowl was a good size that came with onion, cilantro and handmade tortillas. The chivo was really good. Not too gamey on flavor, tender and easy to pick off the bone. The broth was really good too. The taco came in thr handmade tortilla, so it's a good size. I believe you have an option to purchase it on a non handmade tortilla. The taco itself was decent, nothing to write home about. Coffee is served on hot water and you serve your own powdered coffee with regular cream.Overall, I really enjoyed the birria de chivo. The broth had a nice chile seasoning to it. The plates took a while to get, so be prepared to wait. My friends ordered a menudo and breakfast plates and they enjoyed their food. I recommend checking this place out.“

“I’d heard a lot about Handel’s from several people, so I was excited to try it. Handel’s is a walk-up establishment. We ordered from a window in the side of the building, and made our selections from an A-frame sign with 47 (FORTY SEVEN!!) different flavors. With all the usual ice cream shop options, including cones, bowls, waffle cones and bowls, sundaes, banana splits, malts, milkshakes, and floats. We kept it simple with just ice cream cones. The homemade ice cream was soft, smoothe, and delicious. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. If you’re looking for a tasty treat, no one has more options than Handel’s.“

I had my Mom with me and she had already been there so she knew the drinks to get.
I had the mango and ice cream and it was delicious, I can taste the richness of the mango and the ice cream flavor came towards the end of every sip with slivers of pulp, really recommendable.
This young Borbarista by the name of Clarissa was very welcoming had a beautiful smile and confirmed my drink was a good one upon my order which brought me alot of comfort.
Go check them out they have a great environment with a cozy feeling, wifi and board, card games to play just ask them.“

Yogurt containing fat also has a naturally rich texture without all the gums and other fillers that non-fat yogurt and sorbets add for smooth texture. When sugar-free sweeteners are added to fat-free yogurt, many experience unpleasant, as well as embarrassing, gastrointestinal side effects. 😲yikes! “My wife and I stopped in for a treat at our local Cold Stone Creamery — something we enjoy doing from time to time — but tonight was extra special.

We were helped by a young man named Alec, who looked like he was just stepping into adulthood. Not only was he friendly and professional, but you could see he truly enjoyed what he was doing. Watching him make our “Founder’s Favorite” was like watching someone take real pride in their work — it was smooth, confident, and full of joy.

Alec reminded me of myself at his age. As I watched him work, I reflected on how fast life goes. I told him, “Enjoy your life and your youth — because one day you’ll blink and be 40.” He looked at me with a confident smile and simply said, “Oh, I will.” And the look on his face told me he truly meant it. That moment stuck with me.

This was the first time I’ve taken notice of a team member at Cold Stone who really stood out — someone with a spark, a genuine personality, and a way of making the whole experience fun. Alec turned a simple stop for ice cream into a memory.

“My other Starbucks in Visalia closed. I came to this one since it is close to my friends home. It is warm and inviting inside, and some of the familiar faces were here too!

Service is prompt and pleasant. I usually sit and read my mail. It is a nice place to drink coffee and chat with friends.“

I went up to the counter and placed my order, and was told it would take 20 minutes. That seems like a long time to me, but I got my salad bar and sat down. About 30 minutes later, I went up to the counter and asked them to put my pizza in a box to go, when it was ready. It was just taking way too long. When I got to my hotel room and ate my pizza, I discovered that it was delicious. I got the thin and crispy supreme and it was perfect. So my only complaint is the length of time it took to get my food. I would say would be a good bet if you called your order in and took it to go.“
