She was incredibly friendly and helpful despite being busy with her work, the other employees at the counter ignored me but she noticed immediately and stopped what she was doing to assist me. More people need that sort of work ethic !“

“I’d heard a lot about Handel’s from several people, so I was excited to try it. Handel’s is a walk-up establishment. We ordered from a window in the side of the building, and made our selections from an A-frame sign with 47 (FORTY SEVEN!!) different flavors. With all the usual ice cream shop options, including cones, bowls, waffle cones and bowls, sundaes, banana splits, malts, milkshakes, and floats. We kept it simple with just ice cream cones. The homemade ice cream was soft, smoothe, and delicious. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. If you’re looking for a tasty treat, no one has more options than Handel’s.“

I think the best thing about Yogurtland is the many lowfat and regular choices. Most of the competition serves mainly non-fat yogurt and sorbets, which are higher in sugar content to make up for the lack of flavor that fat provides. Yogurt containing fat also has a naturally rich texture without all the gums and other fillers that non-fat yogurt and sorbets add for smooth texture. When sugar-free sweeteners are added to fat-free yogurt, many experience unpleasant, as well as embarrassing, gastrointestinal side effects. 😲yikes! Again, thank you Yogurtland for providing a delicious choice of frozen treats for everyone.🤗💕 We enjoy the nice variety of toppings as well!“

“My wife and I stopped in for a treat at our local Cold Stone Creamery — something we enjoy doing from time to time — but tonight was extra special.

We were helped by a young man named Alec, who looked like he was just stepping into adulthood. Not only was he friendly and professional, but you could see he truly enjoyed what he was doing. Watching him make our “Founder’s Favorite” was like watching someone take real pride in their work — it was smooth, confident, and full of joy.

Alec reminded me of myself at his age. As I watched him work, I reflected on how fast life goes. I told him, “Enjoy your life and your youth — because one day you’ll blink and be 40.” He looked at me with a confident smile and simply said, “Oh, I will.” And the look on his face told me he truly meant it. That moment stuck with me.

This was the first time I’ve taken notice of a team member at Cold Stone who really stood out — someone with a spark, a genuine personality, and a way of making the whole experience fun. Alec turned a simple stop for ice cream into a memory.
