“Bread Savage in Visalia quickly became a daily stop for us during our stay. The pastries are absolutely incredible, easily some of the best we've had. The banana boat is a standout, rich, flavorful, and perfectly done, and the danishes are just as good, flaky and fresh every time.

We ended up going back almost every single day because we couldn't get enough. If you're in Visalia, this place is an absolute must visit for anyone who loves good pastries.”

We also got an appetizer of Baba ganoush with pita chips and that was the star. Very delicious. The chips were a little more crispy than I usually like but they had other options like veggies you could get to dip as well. Large craft beer selection on tap. I was a little bummed that the Pliney the Elder was out though. Nice staff. Good experience. It was warm and we sat outside, they had shade sails and sisters, but we probably should have sat inside as the sun moved across our table while we were there mid day.”

Everything is so fresh, especially the cucumbers.I never thought I'd rave about cucumbers but they're seriously the best I've ever eaten in my life. The chicken is seasoned so perfectly and has a delightful light char. The pita is grilled which I love and you can tell they actually make their own rice, unlike a certain other Mediterranean restaurant *cough*pitakabob. The frozen Greek yogurt is so addictive, I've literally dreamed about it, lol. The prices are super reasonable too. It's become my favorite place when I don't feel like cooking because I refuse to do fastfood anymore. Can't say enough good about this place, I love, love , LOVE it!”

Preschool media and I do not mix, and it's one of the causes for my anxieties. I felt very uncomfortable mentally, and I sort of, but not really, got the impression that I was at a daycare place instead of a diner. I really don't want history repeating itself. The fact that there are password-protected Wi-Fi networks for the restaurant showing up on my iPhone is not helping. I could barely access my YouTube app and look at videos to drown so much out. Aside from that, there have been other unique dining experiences here, and I'm willing to recommend it. I just needed to get that negative experience off my chest. I'm sharing it with my therapist as well.”

If you have never had mahi mahi, I HIGHLY recommend it. Mahi Mahi is a mild, flaky, white meat fish. It’s from the tropics and, to date, is only wild caught. If you like halibut, you’ll like mahi mahi. I prefer it with the garlic butter as I really want to taste the delicate flavor of the fish. Don’t miss this local Visalia, CA eatery. The bean dip, salsa, and chips were a great way to kick off the meal. The chicken enchiladas were so tender they practically melted in your mouth. Even the beans and rice were amazing, sometimes those sides are an afterthought, but not here!

One of our dishes came with a slaw, pineapple, and salad mix that was something new for me. It was fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to cool down after a few bites of a spicier dish.

We don't get this type of Mexican food where we live, so whenever we're in California, we make sure to enjoy it while we can. Chapala Grill did not disappoint. Great food, great service, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area. A+++”

She made it perfectly, 1/3 sweet and with a Triple Shot. I ordered the Amazing Grace (White Chocolate, Vanilla, and Lavender) topped with Amazing Grace Cold Foam. Omg, it is so delicious. Whenever we visit Visalia, Kuppa Joy will definitely be on our to-go list.”

“I read some pretty harsh reviews of this place before we tried it so I wasn't sure what to expect. Lots of stories about food not being worth the price point, coming out slowly and being cold. What actually occurred for us was another story completely.

From the very start, I knew these people were committed to good service based on the effort made by Miriam the host, when she called to confirm. She was above and beyond.

Chelsea was our server and she was amazing. Not only was she friendly, but also was clearly very experienced and competent. Beyond being just a cool person, she performed her job at the highest level.

We ordered the octopus to start, and shared the lamb, shishito peppers, and a ceasar for our main. Every single bite was a delight.

This was such a fun birthday celebration for my mom. Worth every penny. We will definitely be back.”
