I stopped in with 2 friends while on a road trip after seeing they had an almost 5 star rating. Suffice it to say, it was worth it. Scotty (or Scottie - sorry, I didn’t get the spelling of his name) was such a great host and it seemed like it was a family operated restaurant which I love to see. The portions were great and the prices even greater. I hope this place stays open for when I come back in the future. The food is flavorful and on the spicier side, just a heads up!

Sabai Dee Asian Kitchen is a hidden gem in Visalia serving some of the best Thai food. The food is fresh, flavorful, and comes in very generous portions. The family who run the business are warm, genuine, and make you feel very welcome. The owners are very welcoming and attentive, and the mom is an amazing chef who makes the best food for everyone. You can tell the ladies running the establishment put love into what they do. The food is delicious and tasty with fresh ingredients cooked to order for your meal. The food is flavorful and on the spicier side. The papaya salad is fresh and spicy, the jerky with sticky rice hits that perfect savory-chewy combo, the spicy noodles have real depth, and the khao soy is rich, warm, and addictive. The jerky and rice is fantastic, soft, clean rice, crispy jerky and spicy jalapeño salsa. The papaya salsa was crisp, refreshing and had the perfect amount of heat. There are a few tables for dining in or you may takeout. You will find pictures on the wall of the food that you can choose from to give you an idea of what it would look like. Sabai Dee serves straight comfort and flavor with consistent food and consistent service.
