I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kow Loon Chinese Restaurant in Visalia, CA, and it was an absolutely delightful experience that exceeded all my expectations. I can confidently say that this gem of a restaurant deserves a solid five-star rating for several reasons. First and foremost, the generosity of their portion sizes left me pleasantly surprised. This is one of our family's favorite stops. The service is outstanding. Friendly, Quick. Courteous. The food is reasonably priced and tasty. Fresh vegetables (including the mushrooms!)Can't go wrong.If you are looking for a ritzy atmosphere - this is not the place. If you are looking for phenomenal food - then you have arrived.Of note: my in-laws live in the Palm Springs area and are the penultimate "foodies" - and they love the food at Kow Loons.

This is my go to Chinese restaurant whenever I want lunch or dinner. I love their specialty lunch combos and their group dinners. The building is a little old, but don't let that intimidate you as the food is amazing.
