“Port of Subs, Goshen Avenue Visalia, CA. May 13, 2025 So Me & my daughter came here for dinner at 7:45 pm & there was only one woman working (cleaning & organizing) & she was making everything look good! So we both got combos. I got the #1 combo Large & she had gotten the #13 Medium combo with a Large drink. The sandwiches were great & she had made them fresh & so delicious & with whatever we wanted on them. She had laughed because I had wanted a lemon & lime drink (Sprite or Starry) or whatever she had in the soda machine 😂 & she thought it was funny & I did too but she was very nice & she made our night & we really did appreciate it!!! “Been coming to Charleys for a while now and the food is always good, and is made fairly quick. Had the opportunity to be served by the manager andrew, and he is honestly very professional, fast, and knowledgeable on the menu items. Definitely recommend going here for a good sandwich“

“The place is kinda outdated, pictures on the wall show that it was relevant once upon a time 40 years ago or something and then just kind of limped along since then. The prices are a bit high, and the toppings are kind of limited, but what they do have is pretty good.“

“I was impressed with my visit today.
I ordered a gluten free sandwich and let them know about my “gluten allergy”. Actually called celiac disease.
They had a clean board and knife to prepare the sandwich.
I tried to keep it simple by asking for only jalapeños on my tuna sandwich from a clean container. They also brought out clean bottles of mustard, oil and vinegar.
My sandwich was really good! The bread was soft and tasty.
They also offered me a free gluten free snickerdoodle cookie to try! I haven’t tasted it yet but I’m sure it’s yummy and I appreciate that they offered it.“

“Crystal helped me, it was my first time there and I work nearby so I came in and she made the sandwich perfect. I like my sandwiches made in a very specific way, she was super friendly and made it exactly as I wanted it. I'll be coming back as long as the quality stays the same.“

“I believe the workers name was Katy, and she was amazing. She was doing the jobs of BOTH of the other people there. This was yesterday in the later afternoon. I don’t normally go to this location, but just happened too. When I saw her work ethic, I knew I had to try to get her name to write a review.

It was really sad seeing when she took out the trash, the other workers were kind of bad mouthing and making jokes about her. It was a little disheartening, I feel like she deserves all the praise. You could tell she knows the job inside and out, and you can see that she prioritizes her job.“

The staff were extremely patient. They had a generous hand to adding the veggies and meat accordingly.

“A solo trip out and I opt for a The #12 Beach club, not my usual choice but I was delusional...to go please! Friends, this was one of the most bland, flavorless meals I’ve eaten. You can’t fault the sweet boy with rosy cheeks behind the counter who made it. He was just following directions from Mr. James Johnathan. But I persevered and consumed it regardless for the calories.. I’m getting something else next time thanks!“

“This Subway is THE Subway I always order sandwiches from! It is located inside of the Shell Station, the entire store is spacious, open and very very clean! To the left is Subway.Before the "panini" wreaked havoc all around, there were tables and chairs, where you could sit and enjoy your food in a calm low-volume atmosphere.The customer service is amazing! The employees are so kind and friendly and I'm going to assume with a smile on their face. I've never once had an employee try to rush, get short with me, not once in 13 years!The food prep and service areas are always spotless and tidy. The employees wear masks, practice safe food handling and contact procedures at all times. Everything gets cleaned in between customers, register and all.The food is always fresh...no creepy tomato slices, soggy lettuce, or slimy questionable onions to be seen!
