“The food is excellent the pesto SoCal all of it is good you need to come down here to Modesto Turlock, Stanislas, County, San, Joaquin County build them and they will come. The food is excellent, but we need it closer to home. The nearest one is Visalia. I actually ate there today. It was great.“

“Moe’s To Go Sub Sandwiches might be the last true non-franchise, old-school sandwich shop left in Visalia, and that’s exactly why I love it.

Nothing seems to have changed in 40 years, from the old-fashioned menu board to the giant jar of pickles sitting on the counter. They serve hot and cold sandwiches on four different kinds of bread, plus chips, snacks, and ice-cold beers for under five bucks.

It’s a tiny joint, maybe 20 seats max, and don’t come in expecting an assembly line. These sandwiches aren’t slapped together for speed. They’re made one at a time, with care, so relax and enjoy the fact that a place like this still exists.

My recommendation is the #8 on onion bread: mortadella, coppa, cotto, Genoa salami, provolone, and all the veggies.

May 13, 2025 So Me & my daughter came here for dinner at 7:45 pm & there was only one woman working (cleaning & organizing) & she was making everything look good! So we both got combos. I got the #1 combo Large & she had gotten the #13 Medium combo with a Large drink. The sandwiches were great & she had made them fresh & so delicious & with whatever we wanted on them. She had laughed because I had wanted a lemon & lime drink (Sprite or Starry) or whatever she had in the soda machine 😂 & she thought it was funny & I did too but she was very nice & she made our night & we really did appreciate it!!! “At the Dinuba Blvd Location : We ordered a Big Kahuna and a Chicken Salad Mike Way. It was delicious! Very friendly staff. Adrian was very knowledgeable about the products and did a good job on seamless upselling which I can appreciate as a food service alumni! Daniel was sweet and patient with us. I will definitely come back again! People need to voice any concerns with the restaurant not Google! Wouldn’t you like for them to take care of it ?! “I believe the workers name was Katy, and she was amazing. She was doing the jobs of BOTH of the other people there. This was yesterday in the later afternoon. I don’t normally go to this location, but just happened too. When I saw her work ethic, I knew I had to try to get her name to write a review.

It was really sad seeing when she took out the trash, the other workers were kind of bad mouthing and making jokes about her. It was a little disheartening, I feel like she deserves all the praise. You could tell she knows the job inside and out, and you can see that she prioritizes her job.“

McKenna (hopefully I spelled it correctly), made our sandwiches. Our order was correct and she made them right. They were not made sloppy or thrown together.

“This Subway is THE Subway I always order sandwiches from! It is located inside of the Shell Station, the entire store is spacious, open and very very clean! To the left is Subway.Before the "panini" wreaked havoc all around, there were tables and chairs, where you could sit and enjoy your food in a calm low-volume atmosphere.The customer service is amazing! The employees are so kind and friendly and I'm going to assume with a smile on their face. I've never once had an employee try to rush, get short with me, not once in 13 years!The food prep and service areas are always spotless and tidy. The employees wear masks, practice safe food handling and contact procedures at all times. Everything gets cleaned in between customers, register and all.The food is always fresh...no creepy tomato slices, soggy lettuce, or slimy questionable onions to be seen! “Wow! These people made the "toasted" sub famous and they still do it right. Quiznos has GOOD BREAD, which will leave you feeling satisfied for the entire day, unlike Subway. Subway has had the same substance in their bread that people make yoga mats out of.
If you want a good sandwich experience, try the Traditional sub, the Italian sub, or the meatball sub. Those sandwiches are fantastic!
