“Ever since I first had California Fish Grill’s fried Swai, I’ve enjoyed eating here. Since finding that they have grilled mahi mahi on the menu, I am loving the place even more. If you have never had mahi mahi, I HIGHLY recommend it. Mahi Mahi is a mild, flaky, white meat fish. It’s from the tropics and, to date, is only wild caught. If you like halibut, you’ll like mahi mahi. I prefer it with the garlic butter as I really want to taste the delicate flavor of the fish. Don’t miss this local Visalia, CA eatery. If you like fish, it’s a must!“

“The place was great and the food was awesome. The bad out the way. The chairs are not made to be sat in for more than 30 min, but most ppl probably don't stay that long anyway. Their was a very rude guest who was leaving as we just began our ordering. Nasty, rude group of patrons. The Good. I'm not a seafood boil guy but our group of 5 adults really loves it. I enjoyed the fresh oysters very much while the group ate option 4 combo with medium sauce. My will usually add some type of hot sauce to the hottest sauce that comes with the boil but not their time. Really enjoyed the place and hope you all keep up the good work.“

“This is the first time I’ve ever stepped foot in this place and I’m glad I did! Food was yummy, service was quick and staff was informative, welcoming, and friendly. Price was good. The only thing for me was, the scallops. I don’t know if it was the heat that day, but when I got home, it didn’t taste all that fresh. Everything else was delicious. I tried the 3 protein bowl which was around $15 as of 8/2024.

Ambiance is family friendly and chill. Would definitely come back for seconds!

“Went here on a Wednesday evening. Place wasn't too busy and parking was ample.

I've been here a few times and I've had their tacos. Overall, seasoning and preparation on the meat is solid. Tortillas don't have that "al vapor" feel to it. I expect them to be more soft and moist, but I haven't had many "al vapor" tacos to make a true determination.

I got their Wednesday special, which was 2 fish tacos for the price of one. I really enjoyed it. The batter was pretty good. Just needs more crunch to it. Fish was a decent size and the taco is smaller than most fish tacos you try. End of the day, 2 for 1 is a good deal on it.

Overall, ample selection for food and good customer service. Definitely recommend coming out here.“

“This is my new favorite place in visalia to have great food and cold beer. Plenty of parking and seating food is ready quickly. Prices are very reasonable and the quality of food is great. Love coming in here for lunch or early dinner. Wife loves coming here too, friendly staff good music. Definitely recommend

“The other day, I had this woman walk up to me, as I was eating my taco lunch at work. She said, “I see you like tacos! You should let me make you some, I make them with homemade tortillas! I told myself when I was younger, that I would have a restaurant one day and I would make my tacos with handmade tortillas only, and now I do! You should come see me.” It just so happened that my sister and I had been messaging about giving my husband the heart shaped platter of tacos. I immediately text her and said, “I found my lady! Her name is Lupe!” I told her what Lupe had told me and how I just knew I had to have her do this for him! Fast forward to today- Valentine’s Day! I forgot to call yesterday and I called kind of late this morning! 9:54am to be exact! I knew as soon as the person on the other line answered, that it was her! I told her I knew this was probably way too late to order but if there was any way she could, would she still be able to? I didn’t want to stress her or her crew out. She didn’t even hesitate! She said, “Tell me your idea and I’ll do my best to make it happen!” She said she’d Never had this kind of request but was up for the challenge. To be honest, I thought this was going to be a basic rectangular sheet pan with the tacos presented in a heart shape! I was okay with that! To my surprise, I walked in and was caught by complete surprise! Not only did they find a heart shaped box, in this town with Zero Valentines supply, so it seemed, they had even included the roses. ☺️ She included 8 Chicken, 8 Asada, 8 Al Pastor tacos, all the fixings, including some delicious red and green salsa. My husband and kiddo enjoyed the spicey red, while my mom and I enjoyed the flavorful green with a hint of spice. Fresh chips and guacamole, just made it complete! 🤤 Thank you, Lupe, for taking this on so last minute! Thank you, for going the extra mile to make it special and complete! “Second time coming here. First time I must admit was not the best experience due to limited fresh options and presentation of the salad bar. The young man who got out order that day was soooo nice though and helpful in answering my questions and the food itself was not bad so decided to come again. Right when you walk in you see the big easy to read menu with different menu options. Went there right when they opened so everything in the salad bar looked soooo fresh and delicious. The cheese bread is everything you can ever want. The steak my daughter had was soooo juicy and flavorful. The ribs my son had were perfect too! I just had the salad bar because I love the nostalgia and I mainly eat the spaghetti and meatballs with my side salad. Everything so soo good and I really enjoy how they decorated the restaurant. The prices are very reasonable. I felt like I definitely got bang for my buck. The dessert section was a home run too. They added toppings and the brownies were hands down the best I have tasted in such a long time from anywhere. Such a beautiful experience. Thank you to all the staff in the kitchen and the staff keeping things running smoothly in the front lines too, that helped make a great memory for my kids today. You are appreciated!“
