“Alright so continuing to try New Mexican restaurants. Saw this on doordash and looked great. Tacos- looked small especially for the price but it looks like homemade tortillas, and definitely filled enough for the price. Tender and delicious Sopes- again price is higher than most but they give you your money's worth. Delicious and fully packed. I will say the sopes themselves were a bit dense but other than that delicious! Wife had the torta but I didn't try it. Looks like a good ration of filling to bread. I will say that everyone could make these better by simply removing some of the bread white inside. Not taking this out makes the torta have too much bread and eats dry a lot. Overall I recommend this place. Curious to try some of their specialty mil sheets but loved the food!“

“The dinner for two is quite the wonderful experience. For the first time in a long time with how inflation feels like a punch in the gut, Cattleman's is the opposite. $78.99 not cheap, but more than worth the money. I'm a big guy, I love to eat. I barely made it halfway through my entrée before I had to longingly look at it and raise my white flag. The bread and salad are great, huge salad, the artichoke dip had me in a choke hold. However the 14oz ribeye was the absolute star of the dinner. What can I say? I'm a sucker for a well trimmed and perfectly medium rare steak. Again I couldn't even make it to dessert, even still with what I have to go I'm excited for tomorrow's dessert. Anyway this is far more than most people will read, but in my, a random person on the internet, opinion this is a must go and a absolutely perfect place for a special dinner.Parking: Tons of parking“

“They have excellent food for a great price. They have big servings, have usually served my food within 10 minutes, and have great service. They have a nice vibe inside the restaurant as well. A giant fish tank with lots of fishies, interesting art work, and big booths.“

“Muy poco Spanish speaker here. The restaurant may seem intimidating to some, especially if you are melanin deficient. Don't be intimidated. The welcoming staff will walk you through the most authentic menu in the area. If you've never been to Baja California, especially the playas South of TJ, then this is a very close substitute experience from food to service to drink service and atmosphere. No fountain drinks, but clean and inviting dining area. Staff will explain the all Spanish menu. They are honest about the offerings and will encourage you to order something you likely haven't tried before.I ordered Mojarra Frita. I've always wanted to try it. I was far from disappointed. I'm craving it again as I write this. So crispy and flavorful. Think southern fish fry meets Mexican flavor. My wife had the quesabirria.....how can so few ingredients bring so much flavor? So good. So cheesy. So filling. My friend had the shrimp burrito. Another less-is-more moment that makes the main ingredient the highlight of the dish. Add the sauce that's served with it so you can control the amount you get with each bite, and you've got the best shrimp burrito in the county, at least.Take a trip to the other side of the tracks. You won't be disappointed.“

“Been coming here for years for their amazing chicken tacos!!! And they've never disappointed me! Staff has always been friendly, polite, and have gone out of their way to make me feel a home there. I think the small amount of reviews here are because a lot of their clientele are older folks who more than likely don't have or use apps! But it's that older generation that know where the good food is at!“
