“Finally made the 90-minute trek to Dave’s Hot Chicken with the fam! 🍗 The vibe was great—super friendly staff and a very clean spot despite the crowd. The chicken was fresh, hot, and delicious. Only downside was no cheese sticks today, but that just gives us an excuse to come back soon!“

“Ghoul Review: I honestly cannot name another chicken spot in the downtown area (and many other places i find myself roaming) that i can honestly say i would comeback to like i do this spot.
Menu: I personally believe the portions and Variety of this whole menu is good for anyone looking for a quick bite or even all the way up too functions that host multiple people. I personally go for the chicken sandwich ($6.50 w no sides). For that price and its size, i think its pretty bulky and will easily get me through the day as i dont eat much cause i get lazy when too full and it gets in the way if my work. My only criticism really is just the amount of flavor options you can get for the 10 piece option but with todays economy for business owners, i could put that aside honestly.
Environment: Very spacious, the color selection isnt hard to look at and i think i could honestly relax or catch my breath here before going out to the world. Def would bring my friends, family, or companion for hangouts. Just dont be a jerk.
Staff: Easy the strongest piece of this business. Very kind, quick to give you your order at the expected quality (unless this gets swamped here or many other factors that could make your order take longer) and overall give the energy i would want from a place i wanna eat or chill at. They reflect the energy you present and so i believe if you are patient and kind, you will get that back for sure

“We ordered this place for the first time via DoorDash last night and it was incredible! I can only imagine how good it will be when we go to the restaurant! The wings were flavored well and juicy. The spicy smash was amazing and the buns were fresh tasting and amazing. The smash fries incredible! And the Cap’n Crunch milkshake took me back to 20 years ago when carls juniors had theirs. And the prices are incredible compared to todays prices. 10/10 will eat there again!“

“I’ve been coming to this A&W since I was a kid, and now I get to bring my own kids here. I hadn’t been back to Visalia in about 15 years, and wow, both the town and this restaurant have really grown and improved. The food was great, the service was friendly, and everything was clean and well maintained. It was also nice to see they still have the classic cars out on Saturday night. Seeing that tradition continue brought back a lot of good memories. Glad to see this place is still going strong after all these years. Highly recommend!“

“My husband and I had lunch today at A&W . The food was great. Burgers were big, fries were hot. The Rootbeer was so delicious. Josh was very friendly and professional. He greated us as we entered. Also, they have the cleanest smelling restroom for a fast food restaurant. This is a great place to eat with lots of parking.“

“Went here on a Saturday morning. Not too busy with ample parking in the shopping center.Went with a party of 4 and ordered a Breakfast Sandwich with potatoes. The breakfast sandwich was pretty decent. Nothing amazing, but nothing bad. The potatoes were cooked well.Overall, I'll need to try more items here, but because I wasn't too impressed with the food. The service was great and our waitress was attentive. And the diner feel inside was a plus.“

“Been coming for years and have always had a great experience. Bree is one of the regular daytime bartenders and is absolutely amazing, always making sure you're good to go and have what you need. Highly recommend if you need a chill spot to hang for a minute during the day!“

“I went to Carl's Jr. on Main Street and bought two burritos, and the pico de gallo was spoiled. I returned them, and the general manager treated me terribly, even calling me a derogatory F name. That same day, I went to the Carl's Jr. on Mooney Boulevard and bought the same thing, and the food was completely different—hot, fresh, and the service was excellent. 100% recommended!“

“Food quality was good. The people were very nice and helpful. I do have an issue though. Companies like Burger King and Taco Bell when located at Travel stops jack up their prices and don't honor app specials. That will definitely keep me from stopping there“

Wheelchair accessibility: designated wheelchair parking conveniently by the entrance to the restaurant so u don't have to park like a mile away and walk a distance to enter the restaurant the designated handicapp parking are right next to the entrance doors with a ramp making easy access for wheelchairs or person with disabilities“
