“I wanted to write a review about the Visalia location but I cannot. Their pizza so is good! I had the Tikka Masala pizza and butter chicken waffle fries. Those fries are delicious and are such a big portion it lasts me for days after. The large pizza also lasts me a while, I usually get a medium random pizza that I want to try. There is so many pizzas to try and everything always tastes so good! I can’t wait to try everything! Little expensive but so worth it“

“Rosalinda went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our wedding reception! She was happy to work within our budget and charged much less than other caterers in the area. Other caterers couldn't be bothered to respond to messages or send menus. Rosalinda responded promptly to messages and provided the kind of individualized attention that one wants when planning a special event like a wedding reception. I felt very good about supporting this small family business.

I was amazed at how many different types of cuisine Melrose International offers. We ended up having Mexican and Filipino food with gluten-free and vegetarian options. Rosalinda was even willing to make a garlic-free meal for one guest who can't eat garlic! The enchiladas and Mexican rice were my favorite dishes. Rosalinda and her employees worked very hard, including cooking on a grill outside in the hot sun at our reception venue. Her staff was efficient in serving food and even put the leftovers in containers we provided.

One bit of advice: make sure to read over the detailed order list Rosalinda provides. I didn't read it closely enough, and there were some differences between what we had discussed and what was listed. I take responsibility for not paying closer attention. There were just too many things to do at the same time!

Rosalinda offered to cut our wedding cake (made by someone else) for no additional charge, something no other caterer in the area seems to offer. (They often charge $2/slice!)

“It's a typical American diner with an overwhelming menu - almost all things you can imagine are there! We had breakfast - waffles with apples and pancakes with bacon and egg. All was freshly made and tasty. Lovely staff, very eager to suggest something, helpful. The place itself is a bit vintage, a bit kitchy (a lot of random apple figures, paintings, etc), but it has its charm as well! Overall, that was a nice spot to have breakfast before hitting the road.“

“Very good food! I was really surprised to find this hole in the wall in visalia california haha. They were very accomodating to vegan requests and the food was phenomenal. We did family style with a yellow curry, fried rice and a noodle. I would happily go back and would recommend others to do so“

“There’s plenty of chain and franchised deli’s in Visalia to choose from but there is only a few mom and pops. This location is one of them that is independently owned and operated, you’ll see the owner taking and making orders. There’s good things happening and worth checking out :)“
