“We found this place by chance, as the restaurant we were heading to is permanently closed. We told the person who served us what he recommended, they have lamb and beef birria, he very kindly told us let me give you a try first and you can choose. He served us a lamb taco and another beef taco, both of which were very delicious. We decided on the lamb, it was delicious. First time ordered a mix of chicken and ribs, a burrito and a pastor street taco to try.

Fantastic. We knew we’d stop in when we pass through later in the week to go home, and we did. 6 pastor tacos this time, and I cannot put into works how good these are.

Stop and get the pastor street tacos. Perfect meat to tortilla ratio, corn tortillas like they should be, just stop and get the tacos.

Paid 13 bucks and it also came with tortilla chips with their incredible beans. If you pass by come get the cheapest gas in the area alongside a fire taco truck“

“If you want the very tastiest, off the charts flavor shrimp cocktail then you have come to the right place. I’m not going to lie, first impression was a small trailer with a table to eat right in a gas station parking lot but All that fades away once you begin eating. The Clamato base and perfectly chopped veg and cilantro and tons of good size shrimp! They are not skimpy but generous to a fault in my opinion than most restaurants will offer and topped with ripe avocado slices! We were served both tostada style tortillas and saltine crackers and napkins and soup size spoons. The 32 oz tall cup was rimmed with Michelada Sal con Chile! PERFECTION in a cup. The proprietors are clean cut, nice uniforms and very accommodating and friendly and bilingual. We will return because there was nothing preventing us from becoming repeat loyal customers. The menu is extensive too! Bravo! Enthusiastic thumbs up! Well done! The 32 oz was large enough for 2 people to be satisfied (on this occasion). Try them once I guarantee you will be satisfied too“

“This food truck posted up at Polo park one day and we were hungry. So glad it was there because Oh my God are the loaded curry fries delicious! By far one of the best things I've eaten in Bakersfield. The depth of flavor is incredible and and had some good heat (spice) spread out in the fries. Every Saturday my daughter has soccer and every Saturday since eating this I have left disappointed because the truck has not been back. If you happen to stumble upon this truck give it a try and I guarantee you'll be keeping an eye out for it every week after“

Very friendly staff and truly care about the customer experience and willing to customize the thalis and meals per our preferences. We ended up staying an extra night in bakersfield so that we could experience breakfast again the next day. Truly hidden gem place run by the couple.“

Met with smiles at the window, I had questions beyond my Spanish capabilities and the lovely woman’s english, yet the cook/owner/ man behind the counter was so descriptive and patient. Tuesday had tacos for a Buck!! So I ordered some carne asada and el pastor. I also needed to try the rice and beans, they tell a lot about a business. We added two canned Pepsis and for under $15 fed both of us well. The asada tacos were perfection!! Melt in your mouth perfection, the produce was fresh, the salsa was dynamite, and I could have put down a dozen. El Pastor was delicious only dimmed by the excellence of the asada. Then the tell all… the rice and beans l… they were done by a perfectionist taught by a grandmother, or Abuela in this case. Whole pinto “pot” beans were seasoned to perfection and the rice was what I’ve been searching for since my favorite restaurant closed a few years back. If you haven’t tried this truck, Do It! After hearing the love coming from the cook as he described what things were, I’m coming back, going back, may never leave. There’s so much more I need to experience. I’ll keep you posted. “This is my new favorite place to get a burger. I got a double stack and loaded fries. I think two patties are perfect for the thickness. The burger is rich with fat and cheese, but the dill pickles skillfully cut the richness and balance it out. I don't even normally like dill pickles, but I think it would be a mistake to order it without the pickles, and that's a good thing. It's like they know what they're doing.

Service was a little slow, but I think that's a good thing. Hear me out: when do you ever get the best food in under 2 minutes? Great food takes some time. It just means there's a lot of love put into it.“
