“Wife wanted some shrimp and onion rings and I was craving some fish and chips as I haven’t found a place I liked since moving down to Bakersfield. Decided to try coconut joes and was pleasantly surprised. Place is a gem. Nice beach vibes took me back to when I lived in So. Cal and would be hanging out on Main Street in Huntington Beach. Got the fish and chips the shrimp and onion rings and a tri tip sandwich. Everything was fantastic and loved the fish and chips and I only used to like H. Salt fish and chips but now when I’m in the mood for fish I know where to get it. Come on down and enjoy and nice relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff and amazing food“

“OMG!!! I ordered from your food truck during Whisky Flat Days, in Kernville. I had the pastrami dog and let me tell you what, it was amazing!!! I’ve never been a fan of sweet tea, but tried yours and it was the best I’ve ever tasted! Everything, including the service was top-notch!! “This food truck posted up at Polo park one day and we were hungry. So glad it was there because Oh my God are the loaded curry fries delicious! By far one of the best things I've eaten in Bakersfield. The depth of flavor is incredible and and had some good heat (spice) spread out in the fries. Every Saturday my daughter has soccer and every Saturday since eating this I have left disappointed because the truck has not been back. If you happen to stumble upon this truck give it a try and I guarantee you'll be keeping an eye out for it every week after“

“They need sun/sound barrier or shades for Street side; the Birradillas are excellent....heavy 'Marisco' menu...best for groups of 3 or more (wait time for meal avg 15min)...good serving size....not oversaturated in cooking oil. Recommended!! (P.S. MINCED Vegetables wow)“

“Came here for the first time today. I picked up the ham, cheese, and herb scone and sat outside to eat it. Before I left, I went back inside to get another one. On first glance, the prices may seem a bit steep. I assure you, they are worth the price.“
