Almost all the patrons had smiles sitting side by side, some were standing visiting no politics no world issues. When their number was called their smiles were even bigger. Annika who took my order was cheerful very friendly. My number was 73 they were serving 59 my wait went by fast watching people come and pick up their orders never saw a frown. This Rosedale store is bright clean and fun. I headed out the doors and the line of cars was gone the two team members who had been taking orders we're headed in with smiles . Our double doubles we're delicious onions and lettuce were crisp our fry's were hot with a light touch of salt Bentley finished his doggie burger patty before we finished ours. I've driven by this spot numerous times and to be honest never even knew it was there. I was in the area and craving a burger,so a quick search on Yelp brought up Burger Hut. The reviews were not wrong the burgers are delicious and made to order. The place is not big at all with only a few tables inside of the establishment. And the prices are really reasonable way less than you would pay at the fast food chains but with a better quality product and amazing customer service. The menu is pretty basic but they do still have a bit of variety just fyi the chicken teriyaki is no longer available like it shows on the old menus on Yelp.“

“This place is amazing! I had the classic Bombay Burger and curry fries. I didn't realize that I needed this fusion cuisine in my life! The Bombay Burger has a spice blend I can't put my finger on - and it's delicious. What helps is that the meat is of high quality and it's cooked well. It's moist and not burnt to a crisp. It's an all organic beef patty without the gristle and other weird bits we tolerate at other restaurants. It's matched by condiments that are not short on flavor. Because the patty is so flavorful you need the onion, tomato and cucumber to balance the patty and savory sauce. The french fries are also amazing. The curry flavoring is not overpowering. It's essentially the equivalent of seasoned fries, but better. You keep reaching for more because it's a refreshing change! Finally, the service is 10/10! They are sweethearts. “Bakersfield is the halfway point to meet our son to return his dog so we're always looking for a dog friendly restaurant .In the past we've tried the temblor brewing company and the BLVD so we wanted to try something different Athena's Greek Café and Grill. When I first called them they said they would setup a table in the back but when we were on our way there we called again and they said NO DOGS even though they have a sign saying they do allow service dogs. It's located in downtown Bakersfield and At first the location seemed a bit sketchy because we passed a drug rehabilitation home a block away and there was a homeless guy in the parking lot with his bed mattress. It seems the further east you go the worse it gets which is the reason we haven't tried the Pyrenees restaurant yet. Getting back to the food review the service was great. we called in the order ahead of time and everything was ready the prices were a little on the high side we spent over $100 to feed four of us and we had it to go. Here's a list of what we ordered - [x] two baklava''s that were delicious $6.50 each - [x] two spanakopita $11.49 each, we got them to go uncooked and baked them the next day and it was spot on delicious. The only feedback I had is I wish they could get their drive thru mic/speaker replaced because the workers can never hear us, so I feel bad for them.
