“If you want a homecooked meal, breakfast, lunch, etc. Then this is the place to go on the south side of town! The portions are generous and full of flavor!!!!Breakfast:The eggs were delicious, the bacon was for sure farm fresh, and the country-fried steak was to die for!!! It had just enough char and moisture to make you crave another bite, the gravy was the sweet spot for sure. Biscuits and gravy was its own meal and it was offered as a side ?! Sooooo good without the need to pepper or salt anything on the entire plate!They also have a classic Coffee bar where I'm sure many a deal has been struck and a story told! Quaint, with quick service and a homely vibe!“

“i like this place.. my girl took me here for lunch she said lets try this pastrami i wasnt a beliver but hey it is preatty good the flavor was good not as a burger joint type of pastrami but as a more sofisticated flavor type of pastrami. the bread was good tha salad was good too no lie i will def come back for the bread and salad“

“Everything about this place exceeded expectations. I was just in town overnight and wanted to grab a bite before bed at a sit down restaurant rather than fast food. The burrito was phenomenal and so was the margaritas. Crowd was friendly and festive and the service was outstanding.“

“Cool place and very divirsified. I see TV personalities, business owners(from commercials), construction workers(clean cut), bikers, suites and skirts, rich/poor, athletes and golfers. They even have cute cowboys that seem real. Every color, race and religion, sexual preference and everyone from each group seems to genuinely like each other for the most part. The happy hour crowds are the best. Most people that going out here live within a few miles. My gf and I feel welcome here. We Love the sliders! The only thing negative is they don't update their website or honor what's advertised.“

“We had a fantastic dining experience at the renegade room. This was Basque food night and every dish we had from the soup and salad to the oxtail stew and dessert were fantastic. We also had a great server who took good care of us. The room was warm and cheery, and it was just a great experience.“

“Finally had lunch at the guild house. It was absolutely lovely, I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I did have a reservation and my table was ready. Everyone was extremely pleasant. I was offered a hot or cold option and I chose the hot option. Pea soup, chicken Marsala and strawberry shortcake to finish. Polenta fries were perfect!

“Very good burger, the appearance is a solid 10. Is not sloppy or messy. The taste is a solid 10. I got the double Texas with cheese no pickles. It is a good blend and the cheese melts beautifully. I’m not a pickle guy but I’m sure if you like pickles it will taste fresh. I got a large and for the price you get a good amount or fries and a good ice to drink ratio. My kids got the 10 piece chicken nuggets and all my 2 year is saying is yumm. For the price for the chicken nuggets. The amount of fries they put I say it’s better than McDonalds . Really enjoy the atmosphere. Will definitely become a regular.“

“This place looks amazing! The staff was helpful and kind. The food was delicious. I love finding places like this when I travel. When I come through this area again, I will have to come back and try the New York steak. On this night I ordered a side salad with blue cheese, the Wago burger with truffle fries.

“We had a lovely dinner last night at the Petroleum Club. The view out on the golf course at dusk was beautiful. The tables were set beautifully with black tablecloths, beautiful gold chargers, and sparkling crystal. The wait staff was attentive, but not intrusive. They did a great job anticipating our needs. The menu is diverse, with a good selection of options for casual and fine dining. There are many options for people following a plant based diet. My dining companions tried the clam chowder. They thoroughly enjoyed it, reporting that it was creamy, full of clams, and nicely seasoned. They both followed the soup with the salmon salad. The salad itself was a nice mix of different lettuces, fruit, and veggies, topped with a very nice size portion of salmon. They both enjoyed it very much. I had the plant based Salisbury steak with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes and veggies. I believe the Salisbury steak was a house made veggie patty. It was flavorful and the texture and crust were very nice. I will look forward to eating that again someday! My companions then shared a raspberry cheesecake with a chocolate crust. They reported that it was delicious. Upcoming events in October include a wine pairing and Sunday brunches. All in all this is a great place to enjoy a wonderful meal. I look forward to doing so in the near future! “

“We've been out of state for almost 8 years, and when we came back, this was our first stop. Sonya, our favorite server, recognized us ! The food was superb, quick, and served hot, exactly the way we ordered it, and it was delicious. Large portions mean you could split a plate, but who wants to share? Same cook as before. He is an absolute artist with a spatula. lol we really enjoy the breakfasts here. So glad to come home to something familiar

“We all know about this chain at this point. For me though I haven't been back since the early 2010s, so a good decade and my wife has never gone. We decided to go on a spur of the moment choice and we have a new spot for date nights. The choices we picked were amazing. I cannot remember the dishes I'm sorry but I will say sit down and give it a chance if you've been hesitate or think it's another chain so why bother. It's just good food and atleast for us we had great service.“

“The best burgers in Bakersfield hands down. You will never go wrong with a burger and a strawberry shake from this place. They get down with their food. All the guys and girls that work here are always so pleasant and friendly they are all professional and they get your order right. Love them!
