The food was simply outstanding. We ordered the Lamb Hanith and the Fahsah, and both were absolutely incredible. The lamb was melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly seasoned, and packed with rich, authentic flavor. The made-to-order fresh bread was amazing—hot, fluffy, and perfect for enjoying every bite of the Fahsah.

To accompany our meal, we enjoyed Mama’s Tea Milk and the Red Tea. Both were wonderfully aromatic, comforting, and the perfect complement to the rich flavors of the food.

And then came dessert…the Al-Maesub Al-Malaki, which was nothing short of heavenly! Rich, decadent, and beautifully prepared, it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.

Between the exceptional food, the warm hospitality, and Ali’s outstanding service, The Stone House has earned a place among our favorite restaurants in Bakersfield. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Yemeni dining experience.“

When I asked for a house made syrup he was gracious enough to share their chai syrup that actually paired perfectly with my flat white (it wasn’t on the menu but Jorge was so kind to make me one). Jorge! you need to add this to your menu because it was really good!!!
My daughter ordered the Dulce de Leche and she said that it was good too. Also the presentation of the Dulce de Leche is pretty appetizing!

“I am so fortunate to live nearby the Arizona Cafe, some of the best and most consistent menudo in town and personally the one restaurant I have been able to count on for good, simple menudo that is pretty close to what my abuelito used to make. Over 20 years it’s been the same simple indulgence that I have firmly come to know as a staple in my life. Really appreciate the simple food and the simple service even on busy Sunday brunch days. Thanks for being a cornerstone and my go to menudo spot since I was a kid. With or without a hangover, it’s very good.“

“I don’t usually leave reviews unless I am truly “wowed”. Nothing beats this place and I’ve lived in 4 different states! Their coffee is most definitely a hidden gem - it’s a must have. Their pricing is ridiculously inexpensive for what you get. Their breakfast sandwiches are literal chef’s kiss. I loath maple bacon bars… their maple bacon bar might be the best donut I have ever had! The donuts are consistently fresh, melt in your mouth, and there isn’t one that I don’t like. Now the staff! They are always so kind! Every time we go, there are regulars coming and going (some hangout) and the staff remembers each of their orders. My husband stops by every so often in the morning and they are listing off his order before he even gets to the counter. The atmosphere feels like walking into your best friends house! You’re in and out within 5 minutes tops. When friends/family come to visit us this is the one place we make sure that they try before they leave. When in town, they are regulars as well lol. So, this is clearly an absurdly long review, but Angel Donuts is more than deserving! If there are any negative reviews stopping you from trying this place, just know that they are 100% Karen’s - ignore them completely.“

“We ordered a custom two tier wedding cake from Sugar Twist. They delivered it safely on time to our venue. It was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the inspo photos I had provided. It was also the most delicious cake I’ve ever tasted. It was moist and perfect and everything I could’ve asked for. All of our guests said the same thing and raved about this cake. We can’t wait to order more on our anniversary!“

“This has become one of my favorite breakfast spots. I always order the chile verde scramble because it's consistently delicious and never disappoints. My friend's French toast looked incredible and smelled just as good. The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and attentive without hovering. I also like the calm atmosphere and the fun decorations that give the place some personality. It's an easy spot to relax and enjoy a great meal.“

“I absolutely love this spot! The ice lattes, hot chocolate, and strawberry matchas are to die for. Mokhamena is very chill, and great for studying or hanging out with friends. The bathrooms are clean and theres a self-serve station for water.

The only reason I don't give it full five stars is because of two things: service and the bagels. The people are very kind, but sometimes they forget the order, and other times they don't follow through when you change details on an order. However, they have always fixed the issue! As for the bagels, they do not come as pictured. It was my first time ordering the bagel and it looked nothing like the advertised product. I ordered the Egg and Tomato Bagel, but there was no seasonings or mint on it. I could have made this at home. I'm still willing to give it a second try, though, because this place is very good.“

“1st time at this cafe and I usually don’t do reviews but I just had to! This place is AMAIZING the food was delicious and the service was exceptional! Our server was Tatiana super friendly and attentive and the food was delicious I’m very particular on what I like specially what I love and the Chile verde breakfast burrito was FANTASTIC!! Great flavor meat was tender perfectly seasoned and with a spicy kick ( I ordered my eggs inside the burrito over medium instead of scrambled and wow!) My sister ordered the blueberry and banana waffles and they were super soft and fluffy but also Kristy on the edges. By far the best breakfast spot I’ve been to. Great food and service!“

“I had NEVER been in this place, and I can't recall ever seeing or hearing ads for it either. I walked in to get a water because I was near dehydrated by the time I walked in. One of the girls acknowledged me, asked what I would like. I told her I first needed a water lol then said I had no idea what they served, to which she directed me to a menu. I wound up getting a great egg salad sandwich with a power aide to help me recoup. All in all, a quaint lil place to eat and as far as I'm concerned, not too bad a cost for the quality of food I was served!“
