“A bad experience was immediately taken care no questions asked, and that’s great customer service,

I came in for a Dubai strawberry cup today, the first time it was made the cup was half empty, I was quite surprised considering the cost is $12
I saw on the crumbl instagram the cup is supposed to be completely full even overflowing.

So I reached out to the store and she immediately offered to remake it free of charge, I appreciate the quick response immediate action.

It was delicious!

The food was simply outstanding. We ordered the Lamb Hanith and the Fahsah, and both were absolutely incredible. The made-to-order fresh bread was amazing—hot, fluffy, and perfect for enjoying every bite of the Fahsah.

To accompany our meal, we enjoyed Mama’s Tea Milk and the Red Tea. Both were wonderfully aromatic, comforting, and the perfect complement to the rich flavors of the food.

And then came dessert…the Al-Maesub Al-Malaki, which was nothing short of heavenly! Rich, decadent, and beautifully prepared, it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.

“The coffee here has always been good and definitely gives me the caffeine I need to actually stay awake throughout the day. Service is fast even when they're busy. I will say the pastries tend to be dry, but to me the coffee is what matters and thats always great. Atmosphere is awesome with cozy/nerdy vibes 👍“

“Best white chocolate macadamia cookies I've ever had. Everything I tried was good. Each pastry is individually wrapped and you can use a tray to pick out what you want, then go to pay for everything. You can order a drink at the register too. We received great customer service.

It was busy on a Sunday afternoon, tables were full. I didn't order a drink but they have 2 kiosks inside to order from instead of waiting in the cashier line. It seems like an organized, efficient place.“

I've been going to this place since I was walking to school, I actively collected silver change just to get bagel sandwiches here and I love showing up now and then. It's not just nostalgia though, I really recommend trying their smoothies. I love Taro and Pistachio, the donut holes are also great. Never had any problems with anyone working here, only complaint I have is some sketchy people here and there but they've never personally bothered me- a small thing to deal with for the food and smoothies though.“

They now have several different satellite shops in Bakersfield, along with their main bakery on Union Ave.Try their thumb print cookies, I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like them.“

“This lovely cottage bakery is an Eastside treasure! They are for take out, as they bake from their home. I picked up a steamy box fresh out of the oven today and they were so delicious! Soft and chewy, with unique flavors like Abuela chocolate- there is no comparison in grocery stores! Give these bakers a try, I'm sure you will be equally impressed!“

“Every time I venture into the mall, Auntie Anne's Pretzels is a stop I can't resist. Their pretzels are consistently fresh, light, and delicious with just the right amount of salt. In my opinion, they really do make the best pretzels around! I've tried other places, but none compare to the quality these guys provide.
What stands out, aside from the pretzels, is the service. I’ve never had a negative experience at this location – the staff is friendly and efficient, making it a pleasant part of my shopping experience. They always welcome all kinds of customers with a smile and respect. The baked goods are always tasty, fresh and affordable!
My partner and I LOOOVVEEEE the Crema con Jalapeno Pan and it serves perfectly as a hot chip and pan dulce mashup!
The gentleman at the front is always so kind and understanding, and he definitely cares about the community and getting to know them.
The Bakery is always clean and smells fresh every time we walk in.
It's such a blessing and vibe to be able to walk into an original styled bakery shop, and I highly recommend it for your life experiences. It will mean more to you one day!

BUT, the young lady at the counter was so helpful and asked the baker if he could powder up some donuts for me! The Angel Donuts team at the Hageman store saved the morning! Not only that...the service was over the top when, after learning that there was a situation in the parking lot that had me concerned, the young lady (I wish I would have gotten her name!) kept an eye on me until I made it safely to my car! “We did not get a cinnabon. We got the Carvel Sunday. The prices are high but we come here just for the Carvel ice cream. For soft serve, it's pretty awesome. The girl was so nice and put the Sunday together just like my daughter asked for it. The chicken on a stick at the checkout looks so freaking good. I did not get it though because ...My concern was how long had all that food been sitting out there. There were mountains of chicken. Do they really sell it all in the required amount of time? I didn't see how that was possible. It sure looked crispy and delicious though. We were on a road trip and I didn't want to get sick by eating old chicken. This is a newer gas station and there is so much great junk food to eat here. So if you're on a road trip, you definitely should pop by nice atmosphere and nice people. Hopefully they'll respond here about whether all that chicken was just for display or if it really does sell out in the hour.“

Thump cookies were 3+ days old which is a bit odd to continue to sell so I did not buy the kids the small cookies. Wish they had more availability.“

“Smith’s Bakery is a gem of a place in Bakersfield, truly amazing. Everything I’ve had from there for the 25 years I’ve been going there has been nothing but the best. But my God, are they overpriced. They raised their prices dramatically during the pandemic, which I understand to a point. But now they appear to be arbitrarily raising prices just because. And it happens in such a short amount of time that it’s kind of pitiful. For example, they raised the price of a box of their thumbprint cookies by $2 in ONE month. What justifies THAT much of a cost increase in such a short period of time?“

“We ordered a custom two tier wedding cake from Sugar Twist. They delivered it safely on time to our venue. It was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the inspo photos I had provided. It was also the most delicious cake I’ve ever tasted. It was moist and perfect and everything I could’ve asked for. All of our guests said the same thing and raved about this cake. We can’t wait to order more on our anniversary!“
