“My first time here and the staff was very professional and friendly. Diana helped us with my order and explained the menu to me. She also prepared my bionico with no banana as I am allergic to it. I enjoyed coming here and the atmosphere was great. The place was clean too. The prices are reasonable. I’d definitely will come back.“

“A bad experience was immediately taken care no questions asked, and that’s great customer service,

I came in for a Dubai strawberry cup today, the first time it was made the cup was half empty, I was quite surprised considering the cost is $12
I saw on the crumbl instagram the cup is supposed to be completely full even overflowing.

So I reached out to the store and she immediately offered to remake it free of charge, I appreciate the quick response immediate action.

“We rarely go out for ice cream but we were doing some shopping and decided to stop by today. I’m glad we did! They had a lot of options that all looked delicious so I had a difficult time deciding. I had a small scoop and my husband got a milkshake - both were delicious! Staff were very helpful and friendly as well!“

“One of the cutest coolest places I've been too. The servings are INSANELY AWESOMELY HUGE, it was dumb of us to not look around first to see others with the huge servings before ordering, but we thought everyone just loved the ice cream and ordered that big haha. It was legit amazing...my kids love ice cream and did their best to eat it all, the 3 probably should of shared 1. I could live off ice cream if I let myself, so I wasnt letting any of it go to waste pff. Yes, it's pricey, but the quality! Perfect. The menu was a little difficult, either it was so much, or our first time and we didn't know exactly how to order it. But after our experience, we are determined next Bakersfield visit as a whole family to get and share the 36$ plate and go to town for the experience of it (also woukd be cheaper than individual). The cookie dough my youngest had....legit balls of dough, could of made a mini cookie in the oven with each piece. 10/10 for someone who takes ice cream seriously because I can't have it as much so when I do I go for the good stuff. And as cheap as I am these days, I think the price speaks for its quality as a perfect treat. I forgot to take pictures, we were in shock.“

“I recently visited my mom in Bakersfield. I lived there in high school but moved away about 36 years ago. We happened to be driving down California Ave so I told my mom that we should stop at Dewars to pick up some candy. She reluctantly agreed because she is not a big sweets or dessert person. Her one vice is ice cream so I was able to convince her to come in. The place is beautifully decorated in 50’s style motif and one of the servers dressed adorably. I got a mint chip with hot fudge and peanuts. The peanuts were so finely chopped and the hot fudge was delicious. Who would have thought that mint chip would be pink? I headed back to Florida the next day and I just can’t stop thinking about that incredible ice cream and experience. I guess I am going to have to visit my mom more often. Thanks for the treat Dewars. 🥰“

The ice-cream was really good and they have many unique flavors. The candies are also delicious.

They have a really nice “old school ice cream parlor” vibe going on. It feels very classic Americana and I enjoyed just being inside.

Well worth the visit if you’re passing through town!“

Highly recommend to go for the smaller portion as they are huge scoops, we were barely able to finish it. A must try for ice cream lovers, lots of options for flavours as well and take home buckets too.“

“I visited this spot and overall had a really good experience. The atmosphere was nice and made it a great place to relax and enjoy something sweet.

The only downside was that ordering was done entirely on a tablet, which made it a little difficult to make adjustments or customize items the way you might want. It would be nice to have a bit more flexibility there.

That said, the desserts were SO good—definitely the highlight! Everything tasted amazing and made the visit totally worth it. I’d still come back just for the desserts alone.“

The service could have been more welcoming: the clerk seemed annoyed and impatient when taking orders and there wasn't a clear direction to follow in terms of self-service options of preparing the food. If there were directions or serving suggestions provided, combined with friendlier service, this place would earn a higher rating. Over all the experience was enjoyable and I will definitely return for future visits.“

“Great cheeseburgers, ice cream, fried burritos, and chili cheese fries! I go about once a month, and the last time I went, there was a small mix-up with my order. I didn’t complain because mistakes happen. On my next visit, they actually remembered and offered me a free item. I wasn’t even going to bring it up because it was such a small issue. “Love this place! Everything is delicious. My son loves the churros. My other son loves the vanilla ice-cream with crumble oreos. The Nutella banana crapes are my favorite. Their milkshake are delicious, the ice-cream is delicious, their crazy milkshake and their crazy Sundaes are amazing as well. The environment is nice, chill and relaxing. I been to both locations and both locations offe or a chill environment. Its definitely a must try.“

“They got rid of the 2 double delux for 10, as such, this place became the same as every other local joint. At that point, I'd rather go to closer places like Youngs or Golden Ox. The counter people are dismissive, probably because they are in fact over worked. The food now is a touch pricer than others, and the indoor seating is very cramped and uncomfortable. Drive thru only for me, and that's... insane to navigate.“
